It seems like nobody ever talks about this horrifying underrated obstacle IMO. It seems like grip-sapping hell to me! What do you guys think??

I don't like it because it's boring to watch.

Just a round version of the R. Dice, and I hate that obstacle.

If you want to talk about underrated obstacles, I could list 10 that people never talk about that are way cooler than the RC.

I loved the rumbling dice, and I to some extent also like the Roulette Cylinder.
I like the difficulty of it, and I like its placement in the stage, but yes it is pretty boring and I hate how it doesn't stop at the end.

Considering Rumbling Dice is the best 3rd Stage opener and the Roulette Cylinder is its loose sibling at least in the function I like it. Although IMO it's only boring when it's not done correctly, which seemed to be with everyone except David and Okuyama.

I think I'm the only one who likes the obstacle... Well.. I did until I found out the initials... But as an obstacle I still like it

I love how SO many people wanted a rumbling dice-esk obstacle, and now they got what they wanted, they arent pleased. Anyways. I like the obstacle, its a great entrance to stage 3, it sets the tone, also its hard

I think how it continues to roll at the end is a cheap way of making the obstacle hard. It's similar to the end of the pipe slider, but I liked that more for whatever reason. It's almost a malfunction in my eyes. Just a preference I guess.
The drops just make the obstacle seem.... clunky? I don't mind the obstacle being harder than it was, but I don't really think that was the best way of doing it. A lot of people were also going down 1 side at a time which I don't think was intended and it sort of cheapens that aspect of the obstacle.
The rumbling dice was my favorite starting obstacle to stage 3, so just by association I like this one as well. It could use a bit of touching up though, IMO.

Well it should have a little stopper at the end.. It can roll forwards but not back I guess.. If you watch people can just hang on the end and it won't start rolling either way... They have it designed to the best they can without it messing up...
Also... Brent is "alot of people"? And him moving it down one side at a time seemed to be an accident... I like the drops, makes it a more challenging obstacle and adds an element to the viewing of the obstacle.

That one "Rolled at the end" just as much as the 26 version if not more...

I like the Roulette Cylinder. I just wish more people would attempt the hand over hand motion like Okuyama and David used. It seems like it would be quicker and more effective that way to me.

Well in 25 everyone was inexperienced (Granted Okuyama still used that method), in 26 we only had 6 people attempting it.. 2 of which were newcomers, David as as much research as we do since he's one of us being a forum member, Okuyama we know has the right method, Brian and Lee however.. I have no clue why they still did it wrong despite having experience on the original version... I guess they figured that it worked the first time despite the relative impracticality?...

That one "Rolled at the end" just as much as the 26 version if not more... I know, I said I prefer the no drop version over the version with drops, I realize they both roll at the end. Why the hell did you think I was talking about the stopper at the end...? Reading comprehension much?

I was saying when you were talking about how it rolls at the end that stopper is the best they can do without effecting the preformance of the obstacle itself's movement..

No, you were acting like I didn't realize both version of the RC rolled at the end, which I did know. And you said it in response to "Just my opinion. I just prefer the no drop version."
So I really have no idea why you would even make that comment, besides the fact that for some reason you're always on my case about everything.
