Well actually its not the jump, its the swing. How do I get a good swing and keep it just side to side, I start of going side to side good and somehow my legs go forward making a circular swinging motion and have to come to a complete stop or swing too soon or incorrectly (which usually results in me missing my mark). So how do I get that done right?

I do, but my legs end up going somewhere, am I supposed to hold my legs completely straight or something?

Slightly bent. I bet if you just watch a few clips of nagano doing the cliff hanger it would help you out.

It's not that hard.

Well looking at Nagano's jumps he kind of turns to do a back and forth swing, I just kept trying side to side and just kept myself straight (I would guess it could be the gloves on the metal ledge making it hard to hang on) but then realized how far I was swinging and went for it, I think I ended up going past where I was going for, but considering the angle thats better because its a bigger drop making it more realistic, And I landed on just the inch ledge part even though I had more room so I would guess thats some good practice.

Well that doesn't really help me. But the point is moot because I managed to clear the way I was doing.
Although that's a cool Final Stage shirt.

If you still want the help, my method is similar to Nagano's.
My right hand reaches around the end of the ledge. Holding the corner like this really makes a difference for me. My left hand is placed wherever it's comfortable. It doesn't matter yet.
Do a pull-up-ish motion with your right arm, bringing your shoulder toward your hand. As you do this, kick your right leg out a bit. You have now swung to the right.
Do the same thing, only with your left arm and leg, when you swing back and you've now swung to the left.
The harder you pull and kick will determine how high you actually swing. If you're tired or not very strong, a session of small pulls and kicks will work, getting you a little higher each time. If you don't have a problem, however, I recommend a large pull and kick from the beginning. It really saves time and energy.
For the jump, timing is everything. It's remarkably easy if you do everything at the right times.
As you swing to the left and most of your weight is supported by your right hand, at the peak of your swing, move your left hand right next to your right hand. As you swing, you should feel most of the weight/tension in your right arm. Let it straighten out a bit as you swing. Let yourself fall several inches at least. As you finish swinging across and begin to swing up, pull up as hard as you can with your right arm. Be sure to use your right leg, too. Really get some power into this and commit to it. Half-a-ing it won't work. At the top of your swing, when you feel you have the most power and height, quickly take your hands off the ledge you were swinging from. Hopefully, if you did everything correctly, you have the power to travel the horizontal distance and you even have a small vertical boost to help you travel farther and give you more time to move your hands.
As soon as you can, grab the landing ledge with both hands, in any way you like, and HANG ON. For the longest time, I could make the jump but not hang on. The trick is to catch yourself in mid air and use your arms to slow your decent as much as possible. If you just land and let your arms straighten, the force will probably shake you loose.
That's how I and, as far as I can tell, Nagano does it.
As for your original question, you're obviously swinging forward or backwards in addition to side to side. Pay attention to how you swing while you're doing it. Chances are you'll notice something.
