This tournament was good but to be honest I wasn't really all that pleased with it compared to Sasuke 25, 24 and ESPECIALLY Sasuke 23, which was by far my favorite.
25 I gave a 9 and Sasuke 24 I gave an 8.
23 got a 10 from me, I absolutely LOVED that tournament.
This one gets a 7 from me, cause it was exciting but at the same time, it was weird seeing a lot of runs Fast forwarded and also seeing so many all stars/veterans fail on the first stage. I liked the tournament overall but it just didn't feel the same without Takeda, Akiyama, and Levi as well.

I gave it 6.
Americans were just everywhere, and I had a heart attack everytime someone Japanese or Lee Enchi took on a stage.

I'm giving this an 8. Why? That is honestly the most dramatic tournament ever IMO. No one could have called all of that happening, some of us are still not even sure it did. It doesn't get a 9 or 10 because no one cleared the UCH, but just a surreal tournament from start to finish.

Results wise, this tournament was pretty much disappointing. HOWEVER, incredible twists and turns such as... -Okuyama's crazy second stage save and Lee's first stage run. -That freaken Rolling Escargot and it's MAJOR upsets -Mr. Octopus being the complete opposite of disappointing! -Lee's incredible save on the doorknobs, Yuuji's flying around everywhere and the incredible effort made by Okuyama at the UCH -Iketani's awesome return to the Second Stage!
All in all the results were disappointing and the ratings probably went below the depths of hell when Naoto Nagano and Yuuji failed... but the entertainment value was very high this time around.

Too many of the best competitors were taken out in the first stage which dissapointed me. Seeing as i saw ANW2 it was also frustrating that only two non-americans made it to the third stage. I really would have loved to see someone like Yuuji on the UCH.

On a strictly Sasuke-related scale, I'd give it a 5, ie. below average. Results were disappointing and I didn't like how it was presented, but there was some good drama in there, just not nearly as much as other tournaments.

Well the 1st Stage took out a TON of my favorites
-Nagano, Mr Handball, Sato, Yuuji, Kongu, Shingo, Yamada, etc.
Takeda wasn't there, that really hurt a lot of his fans, like myself!
Naoki Iketani really amazed me in stage 1, 1 attempt on the warped wall! 5/5
Hashimoto's failure on the metal spin was a complete shock.
Yuuji just did poorly on Stage 1, not like a champion but 5/5 backflip on the Jumping Spider.
Okuyama and Lee did great on the UCH, very nice.
And finally, Americans. Outnumbered :S Nuff Said.
5/10

4 Editing was atrocious. They stetched out the worst parts and ff'd the best. I can't fathom why they felt the need to basically ignore the Americans. The first 45 minutes was very well done. They moved quickly but thouroughly through the joke competitors and featured an eclectic and interesting group of people. When it came time for the "good" people, it went downhill fast. They painfully stretched the last 20 or so competitors. Stage 2 was horrific to watch. It's like they wanted dread and doom. The editing made Stage 2 seem like a fiasco, but the results were actually pretty good. Stage 3 was better but still rushed. The results of the competitors didn't factor into my score, it was just poorly put together.

I gave it a 7. I was actually kind of mad how they digested Kongu. They also didnt go in order of the #'s.. Lets just hope the ratings were good!

Did you expect them to be shown in full? Last time we sent 10 the same thing happend, so I don't know why you had high expectations. This is EXACTLY why I watched anw2 and was telling a few other people to do. We got to see all 10 americans in full. No fast forwards or anything. The only disappointing part is that they ended up being a majority of the competition, but oh well.

I thought FFing the Americans was stupid because they made up most of the clears and could have created the most excitement.

Three. I found myself bored through most of the broadcast, so much so that I didn't watch a single person take on stage two. Only caught the second half of the last guy's run. Also, I didn't much like how they condensed some strong, well-known competitors' runs.
The only things I really liked was having Yamada back (even if he did fail... again) and having so many women. We seriously need more strong female competitors.

I had it around 7. I found myself wanting the TBS broadcast to be a little longer simply because I'm so used to it being longer that my brain kept telling me it's too rushed.. But.. we HAVE one so I should have it higher than a 7. Still.. I liked it. It was different and more unpredictable. People I thought for sure would clear it didn't and those I didn't expect at all did. I gave that part a 10.. it was the editing that threw me for a loop so I knocked it down for that.

I honestly can't decide right now.
Did they edit the #'s by the way? Where they showed later competitors earlier? So that way they could do the whole G4 thing where the competitors are edited to look like they are doing better each run.
Boring first stage. They showed lame competitors, and fast forwarded through some good people.
They should've spend more time on Yuuji's fail, they could've made that emotional, which it was. Instead they started the stage 2 intro, and it was almost like he was ignored.
Whatever. I love the American's, and I may sound like a dick here, I don't know, but I am disappointed with the Japanese right now. It's like one tournament, they dominate, and the next, they are all weak. Seriously, every Japanese competitor, just by looking at them, they looked heavier than normal.
Ugh. There's a perfectly good reason that the American's should be ahead though, this is why Japan needs there own ANW.

5. Lots of disappointment, sloppy editing, several big names missing it (especially Takeda), and rough results for the Japanese guys. There were some other things as well, but the drama and shock awe made up for it a little bit. Overall not the best tournament, but not the worst one either (probably lower rated than most however).

5. Not good. Good: - UCH easier - Americans going far EDIT: 1 more small thing - I liked what they did with the roulette cylinder Bad: - Horrible editing - Numbers jumbled - Way too many fast forwards (Americans, Hashimoto) - Many people either digested or not shown at all (Kongu, Kanno, Tajima, Sato Jun) - Stage one is too hard - Big names not there - Put together at the last minute - UCH is still there

I voted 7. Surprises are good for the results and reactions. That's not my gripe. - The number order and run order was edited. Everyone here complains when G4 does it, so now it's a problem that TBS did it. - They cut Shin Sedai Naoya Tajima and Sato Jun. I don't like this. - The broadcast length was too short. Seemed like an excess of FFs and Digests. - They didn't advertise for this short sasuke.... This isn't a good sign. - They also didn't give word about another Sasuke nor did they run credits....
I still enjoyed the show. I was entertained. So it got the grade it deserves.

I went with 6. I did not like this tournament very much at all. The whole reason I got soo excited for this one was to finally see some of the biggest names like take on stage 3 but... Yuuji and Nagano's super early defeats just killed it for me, as soon as they both went down I lost 90% of my interest in seeing the rest of Sasuke 26. Overall yeah... could have been a great Sasuke, but it was mostly the competitors runs in this one that lowered it for me. Not to mention that for some reason(apparently a good reason, because look at what happened) my heart was in my throat half the time, far more than I'd like it to be during Sasuke. It just felt like things were gonna go wrong early on to me. The only real pluses for me with 26 is A. The new first stage is alot better than 25's and it feels more like Shin-Sasuke's to me (though I would like the giant swing to go) and B. the Americans finally held their own and did very good.
