So since G4 is going to show Sasuke 26 and all it's obstacles earlier than the Japanese broadcast, (Still weird btw) this will make the official broadcast a bit less fun and surprising to watch. The ANW2 version may also spoil things that would've otherwise been really exciting to watch during the real broadcast. (Imagine seeing Sasuke 24 on G4, and seeing Takeda with a towel being wet in the background. Probably imo one of the most exciting runs in Sasuke, would've been ruined have I seen that before on G4.
So, what are you guys planning on doing. I still haven't decided yet, I love watching the broadcast, the competitors, and the new obstacles all in one night. This sort of kills the excitement that watching the Japanese broadcast usually brings.
BTW lets not make this a thread in which we b**** and moan about G4, there going to do it, so choose your poison, watch or don't watch and wait for the Japanese broadcast?

No way. Gonna skip the episode where they show 26, watch TBS broacast, and *perhaps* watch the ANW episode after that.

Actually I know of at least 20 people that are going to forgo ANW completely simply because they expected (and rightfully so) results, spoilers, glimpses, etc. of Sasuke before the official broadcast sometime in January. They won't even post on the boards because even simple things like the obstacles revealed will spoil their enjoyment. They were upset at ANW1 where they showed Nagano on the final climb on the final tower in the opening sequence.. needless to say they won't do the same mistake twice. Personally I'm a spoiler queen so I'll see it as it airs regardless of country. I am disappointed that G4 is airing 10 runs of Sasuke 26 well before the official broadcast but that's TBS' fault for allowing that to happen. So whatever order it comes is what I'm watching Pass the popcorn!

If your not in America, you probably won't care.
I honestly probably won't see the last part of ANW, which means I may have to stay out of this board until Sasuke 26 airs. I really love watching it live, and it's been SOOO Long since Sasuke 25, so I want the whole thing.
I'm sure the mods will be on top of Obstacle Spoilers in the title.
Also, I know that obstacles isn't considered a spoiler, but could we allow it to be one during the time between ANW2's Sasuke 26 and the official broadcast? I'd rather ANY disscussion of ANW to stay in those threads. Even the new obstacles.

I don't mind spoilers.. Hell.. I love having info early... XD So obviously I'll be watching the ANW 26 runs when they air it (Errr.... When the recording gets out...) days before 26 airs..

I'm actually the same way as RL, spoilers can't exactly kill me, like I'm one of those viewers that has to be spoiled really badly to feel bothered or like the show was ruined. I had all the American results in Sasuke 20 spoiled but still enjoyed it a ton!
All the glimpses of the course on G4 has really made me want to do coverage.
Oh, as for the poll, I haven't decided yet. I think I'm leaning toward watching the Americans before Sasuke 26 though.

Here is one major concern I have
If we do the chatroom again like we've done for awhile, I'm afraid people will be spoiling things that not everyone has seen.
Like say it's Levi's turn to run stage 1 and someone who watched the G4 version says "Oh, he's passed already".
Well... thanks...
Even things like "Oh, you gotta watch this! He does something epic at the end" is somewhat spoiling.

I'll probably watch the Semi-Finals and Boot Camp to know which Americans are in 26, but I'll hold off on the Americans' runs until 26 airs on TBS. IIRC so far G4 hasn't (and hopefully won't) revealed anything about results for 26 (only a few obstacle teasers, which isn't much of spoilers to me), and I doubt they will do that again like how they did last time with Nagano in the Final Stage. Considering how much effort G4 put into ANW2, I think they'd be wise enough anyway to keep stuff secret for the other 90 competitors until it's been revealed on the Japanese broadcast. Besides, I've spoiled the overall results for myself for each tournament since I joined this board (23, 24, and 25) by checking them on Sasukepedia or something like that, and this time I really want to keep it a surprise for myself until I actually see the TBS broadcast (who knows how many more chances I'll even get to do this, so it might be now or never). Point blank, watch ANW2 until they tell which 10 are going, then (impatiently) wait for 26 to air on TBS, then watch rest of ANW2 and NW26 on G4 (basically everything that arty said except dragged out ).

No I will wait till TBS broadcase, I dont have G4 anyway.
As far as the spoilers go, I dont care if obstacles are spoiled.. actually I want to know what the obstacles are. But I do care if competitors are spoiled.

I'm going to see the new obstacles as soon as possible, G4 or TBS, I don't care. BTW did they even confirm that the ten runs were going to be shown as part of ANW2? It was kinda weird when the Americans were cut entirely for G4's regular broadcast of 23.

I'm kind of torn on this. I want to see the new obstacles and the Americans as soon as I can, but I also don't want other competitors' results spoiled before I can even see their runs. I mean I can imagine G4 using footage of other competitors in the descriptions of their obstacles, which would ruin the result of that competitor for me personally. At this point, I'm thinking about watching their runs due to the very good first episodes this week, but I might back out of watching their runs at the last second haha.

USA Today said it will be on December 23rd.

I'll be watching the 10 americans running Sasuke 26.
For me, it doesn't spoil the TBS broadcast because I enjoy the competition on the obstacle course. I might not agree with how G4 treats Sasuke or M9 or TBS, but I still love people running the course and I don't want to wait another minute to watch 10 people that I wish I could run it with.

Don't forget the risk of being spoiled. As Arsenette said, they spoiled who went to the final stage in ANW1, and it had NOTHING to do with ANW, they just decided to air it. As non-hardcore fans, G4 will show it, and no one will notice, but as hard core fans like us, we will notice any clip they add in just for filler. Jus sayin.

At first I said to myself I wouldn't but now I decided to. It'll feel weird watching some parts of 26 here before in Japan, but it may be the only time I get to watch it if TBS doesn't air it when I'm not in school until a recording goes up, which is never guaranteed.

Actually, here's what I'm probably going to do. Record it, than NOT watch it, and see if anyone in this forum says that it has spoilers. If you guys say it doesn't have any spoilers, I'll watch it. If there's huge spoilers, I'll skip it.
There we go.
