Instead of everyone just askin gon tips, lets all share our recent accomplishments of our training. Maybe our tips can inspire others.
Well they're taking down a playground around here and I've been using the parts in the closed space to do training on. Although it was mostly slider obstacles (The Pipe and Stick sliders). And I also found a new playground (not even looking for one but I found one) which has training possibilities. Although the acomplishment now was finding Devil Steps to train on, its still a super easy obstacle, I kind of want to try the higher ones by them, although I'd have to climb the outside of the staircase to get to them, so that kind of sounds fun in itself, but its not as much getting up as getting down (because my gloves keep trying to slip off. the gloves are not because I can't take the concrete steps, because its cold out!). Also found some kind of public baseball/football field thing, and the baseball part has some kind of fence that angles towards the top which is good for climbing, and the posts things on the football field part are good for climbing across, its not like regular football post things because its two poles going up out of the ground with poles going between them.

Here's two accomplishments. Recently, I was bored, so I decided to glue one-inch pieces of wood to the wooden rafters with no handholds in my basement. Now, they have an area to grip, and I can transfer between the rafters in my basement. It's pretty fun, and I hope to have a video of it up soon. Also, I did a total ammount of 300 pullups in a day a little while ago. I didn't do them in a row but through repetitions, and I achieved a total amount of 300 for the day, which was pretty special to me considering my arms were killing me haha.

Transfering between them? You mean like Colin Bell did in his ANC1 vid? And as of tuesday that playground they're taking down was completely down and a pile of wood and metal. Actually early tuesday it was still mostly up, at a state its not a good idea to use it as, one side of the upper bridge thingy was one side up with the other board all the way across, I was doing a Cliffhanger across it then the city came by and started working on it, when the truck with the city logo on it pulled up I dropped down 80% across and started running back away from the playground and cut through some trees and found myself in some neighborhood I didn't know about, but trying to find my way there I found another playground I didn't know about, sort of lame though, there is a set of Monkey Bars (the kind thats bars between wood) and some of the bars spin (I assume they're not supposed to by all the other stiff ones) which has potential. The only other thing sort of useful there was a see-saw thing (With only one seat which was in bad shape) which can be used as some kind of balance walk thing. Although I can't help but think there might be part of that one playground still up if they didn't catch me, probably not but ya' never know. I tried to use one metal thing and some of the planks for a Downhill jump but the pile was so weirdly set up I couldn't get it out of the pile (lets just call it some kind of Wall Lift training though ) I hope the next time I get the chance to get there (Monday at the earliest) they at least will still have the old parts still there because I could use some guard rails, a tunnel thing and the two big tunnel slides still there to make a Log Grip like thing. Or maybe better yet have the peices for the new playground taking its spot and do stuff with that, I at least hope its better than that old one.

Yea, I did it just like Colin Bell haha. That's where I got the idea from, and I finally decided to replicate it. Also, I wish I had more playgrounds near me to train at. There are only a few that are good to train at, but they're farther than walking distance. I need to get my driver's license haha.

Or you could walk making it more worth it. I mean the playgrounds I usearound here, only 3 are near where I live, the one they tore down is about a mile or so, the one I found is just farthur than that one, and the other one I found is about two miles. I found another playground near that climbing spot I found but it had no training potential whatsoever. But ya' gotta admit, this thing has some definite climbing potential

Well, by "farther than walking distance", I meant around ten to fifteen miles away just to get there. There's not many playgrounds around where I live. Of course when I'm camping, I'm on the playgrounds all the time haha. Also, those baseball fences are fun to climb haha.

Oh, that definitly is way out of walking range unless you have alot of time. And if they weren't fun to climb why would I have brought them up, although one thing I want to try is climbing all the way up, getting on top, and climbing down, now that would be extreme fence jumping.

Well, here's the climbing that I do on the one-inch ledges that I attached to the rafters in my basement. I already posted this in the Ninja Warrior training videos on the g4 forums, but I'm not sure that everyone is a registered user there. Tell me what you think, and any suggestions for improvement would be appreciated.

With alot of practice, those could be some extreme Jumping Bars.
And I found yet another new playground, not too practical except for a few things, the best being bigger of the two Monkey Bar Arches which I have some kind of Jumping Bars meet Salmon ladder thing.
and I found a couple of other playgrounds too, one of them is too lame for anything, one is useful a bit because it has another set of those regular monkey bar things, and a metal slide which can be part of the Flying Chute training, And it also has one of those Merry-Go-Rounds which could be a bit of running and balance training, or just hanging on at the end of one, or something. And one has one of those playground rock wall things with weird angled rocks on the wall and on both sides which is useful, other than that its not too practical. Although whats also good is around the place I found Devil Steps, I realized there were some Spider Climbs I somehow missed. And there was this one building (not part of the apparments but not too far away) which has some kind of stone wall thing which takes rock climbing to the most litteral sense as it actually is climbing rocks and finding where you can and can't grab.

Training Log:
Wensday some time ago: Went to the dentist, got fillings.
Thursday some time ago: Went to the dentist got fillings.
Monday some time ago: Got an eye exam because my eyes suck.
Tuesday some time ago: Got nose Surgery
Wensday some time ago: My nose freaking huty.
Thursday some time ago: I hadn't slept in over 52 hours, had only 1 meal in the last 3 days. I had blood constantly coming from my nose. I had a cold which eventually clogged up my nose so blood didn't go through, meaning it went to the back of my throat, meaning I couldn't swallow, meaning I couldn't eat, meaning I couldn't take my pain medicine, meaning my nose hurt like hell.
Had 2 tubes in my nose, couldn't breathe, it hurt really bad, couldn't sleep, couldn't eat, drained of energy.
And since it's cold out I havn't trained hardly at all. I usually only train when I can go outside, I feel cramped indoors, so I'm on an off season now, and when I get back into training in the spring I'm gonna suck... lol.
I'll have my Salmon Ladder in the spring.

Well since this is, in a way, the unofficial training videos thread for this site, I might as well post my most recent training accomplishment here. Recently, I haven't felt like waiting for the ground to unfreeze to dig holes for my outside cliffhanger, so I decided to make one inside next to the one-inch ledges that I climb on my rafters. I at least made some of the slanted part, enough to climb, and the meter gap in my basement to be ready when I put up the official cliffhanger. I use the technique that Nagasaki attempted to use in Sasuke 18, since luckily I have long arms haha. Unfortunately, it's really bad quality, the best I could do at this point in time, so props to you if you can actually see the ledges, which is what I was hoping people would be able to see. Feel free to give constructive criticism, and I hope you enjoy.

Did two sets of Devil Steps going up. Transferring to the next set of steps was tricky because of the angled metal base of the rail, I would have slipped it if wasn't for the bars holding up the railing. When I got to the top of the second set I wasn't too exhausted (although my gloves were slipping so made it a bit hard to grip and I couldn't really get them back up without going to the ground), Looked down and thought that it was probably a bad idea to try to go up to the next set so I just went down, decided just to drop down instead of trying to get back to the first set of stairs.

Training log: I'm hella out of shape. 10 pullups was extremely tough for me, took everything I had. Stupid winter...
Guess I'll have to start training again.

What? Am I the only one who trained outside when it was cold? Actually it was cold today, which is why I had gloves obviously..
