I saw on G4 in SASUKE 9 that the subs said Yamamoto and Yamada were brothers. Is that true or just another f*** up G4 threw at us?

I think the fail here is that Iams actually believed it. If I did believe it I wouldn't put a thread about it. Anyhow it looks like G4 f***ed up... BIG TIME! As for arsenette. It's on G4 broadcast of SASUKE 9 in Stage 3. |

Iams, are you sure that G4 meant that literally? I saw the part you were talking about. That may have simply been a figure of speech. Sometimes the G4 announcer refers to the All-Stars as a "band of brothers."

Yeah actually I really doubt they meant that literally. They could've chosen a better word though like "comrade".
I'm going to say it's both a G4 and Iams fail.

Unfortunately I'm at LSUS and using the school's computer, so I can't screencap it, but I have the video up and I can tell you that it said (in reference to Shingo) "Not even his brother Yamada could make it!" If you want to see it for yourself, it's in the usual place. Take the video up to about 50 minutes.

That's either a figurative translation as I didn't hear ANY terms the Japanese use for brother, or I'm LOL'ing to the bank at how bad of a fail that is. I don't know why this is a thread though. If they were blood brother, pretty sure everyone here would know. It's likely just G4 trying to be cute with subtitles playing up the All-Stars hype.
