Depends on the gap, my steps were wider, the narrower they are, the more forward momentum you get and the less side to side momentum you get.
As i said, mine was by design so with the last jump you can turn, grab, and swing very fluidly. I am sure they made their steps and rope work the same way, I'm just curious on the angles.

BTW... Since I have an actual (thing with a....) Video Camera I can use outside of my room... I have a perfect spot to practice my speculation on what the wheel things are in Stage 3... Should I get a vid of that? Although I would assume that if I'm correct those are wheels or rings or something they would move more than that...

Will get the picture up when its available.
The object between the spring board and the net is a swinging bar, similar to devil's swing from stage 3.

Can someone tell me how the first obstacle works? From what Alison showed us it looked like there was a LONG gap from the steps to the platform.

The Rolling Escargot was hilarious to watch. It was like watching poorly animated anime character spin through the air. It was actually a little hypnotizing. (I promise I didn't watch ANW on weed.)

BTW: The Roulette Cylinder has been modified from the 25 version. It now has 2 drops in its track.

I'm giving you all a little leeway here, please keep anything related to ANW2 out of here and only talk about obstacles. if I get called in here again I won't be happy since I have no interest in reading these either -_-

I think it's clear now that the Doorknob Grasper has been modified to actually turn. It seemed to be a small change and I wasn't worried about it at first but it really did some damage. In my opinion, it was an unnecessary change.
I still strongly dislike the combo opener. The Roulette Wheel is just way too clunky to work effectively- and I still say that it malfunctions at the end when it doesn't stay in place for the transition.
Mercifully, the Cycling Road is (seemingly) way easier then the Floating Boards.
I think it's time for some Doorknob Grasper replicas!!
The Rolling Escargot is quite simply the most outlandish obstacle ever seen on Sasuke. The only thing that comes close is the Big Boulder and that's normal when compared against the RE. Everything from the name to watching people flipping head over heals to the mesmerizing swirl design was absolutely hilarious- it turned out to be quite dangerous too...
I still hate the Slider Drop but the new Stage 2 first obstacle background was fantastic- I might even prefer it over the cathedral.

Seems like tall competitors would have a tough time on the 3rd obstacle.
Stage 3 in my mind is actually tougher. Even though the floating boards were removed and the UCH was made IMO slightly easier, the first 2 obstacles had a pretty significant increase in difficulty.

Whoa, floating boards removed? So UCH was 3d obstacle?

Whoa, floating boards removed? So UCH was 3d obstacle? No... "Cycling Road" was... 4 wheels that you have to attempt like monkey bars, 2 low and 2 high... To demonstrate.. my speculation on how to attempt it was correct

I really am surprised that Stage 2 really wasn't changed AT ALL.
The Rolling Escargot was definitely a WEIRD obstacle but I think once people start getting used to it, most people who fail it should have no problem clearing it in the future competitions.
And I'm VERY surprised at how easy the second to last obstacle in stage 1 is, since there's really no height advantages in terms of reaching the bar it seems.
