I still hate the Slider Drop but the new Stage 2 first obstacle background was fantastic- I might even prefer it over the cathedral. Yeah the new retro/neon look is nice! 25's "Construction" background was alright, but the new one is just awesome to say the least. Even if it was the only "change" to Stage 2 (still same 6 obstacles and 95-second time limit as 25), it's still an awesome modification to the stage.

The Rolling Escargot was hilarious to watch. It was like watching poorly animated anime character spin through the air. Huh... So that was Team Rocket about to attempt the Jumping Spider?... Because if so I think Meowth doesn't stand a chance at touching the walls...

I think it's clear now that the Doorknob Grasper has been modified to actually turn. It seemed to be a small change and I wasn't worried about it at first but it really did some damage. In my opinion, it was an unnecessary change. I disagree. The 3rd stage had one REALLY REALLY REALLY hard obstacle, and the rest were pretty easy in comparison. (Minus the last obstacle.) At least here, the difficulty is more balanced out between obstacles, and now, each obstacle is more exciting to watch. Is that really a "Malfunction." I consider it part of the obstacle, you have to deal with it's constant rolling. It is an awkward first obstacle, but I like the amount of time the competitor has to complete it. It went from 2 awful obstacles, to 2 great obstacles imo. The twisting in the doorknob grasper made the uninspiring obstacle to a clever obstacle. I really am surprised that Stage 2 really wasn't changed AT ALL. Well why? It destroyed competitors in 25, It makes sense for them to keep it the same. Yeah. It seemed pretty easy. I think they should make it more steeper in 27. It could've been a really cool obstacle, but they made it waaaaaaaay too easy. Disappointed actually. The slider jump and Circle slider are way more exciting to watch. It would be cool if they spaced out both sides. The platform to the bar, and the bar to the net.

I noticed the trapeze on the giant swing doesn't move until you grasp it firmly. It was a f--ked up twist.

I noticed the trapeze on the giant swing doesn't move until you grasp it firmly. It was a f--ked up twist. Would it work by not moving? -_-

The rolling escargot is NOT easy for a 3rd obstacle. It's not incredibly difficult, but it's hard enough for its placement. I can't think of any 3rd obstacle ever that's tougher than that really.
And I love the second to last obstacle. It's really exciting, and not TOO easy.

I noticed the trapeze on the giant swing doesn't move until you grasp it firmly. It was a f--ked up twist. Yeah I had to yank it pretty hard and it kinda sapped all my momentum. I think it may have been attached with magnets...not totally sure.

I would assume it has some sort of notch on it, that has to be relatively strong to hold a big metal bar on two other bars in place, And even then it still needed a counterweight obviously...
