The steps and the structure are really close together. Combo obstacle to start? That looks cool if true...

That's what I was talking about. Though I'm wondering what the heck could that structure support.

That's what I was talking about. Though I'm wondering what the heck could that structure support. If I just had to take a random guess I would guess maybe theres some kind of combo of less steep Rokudantobi + grabbing onto something that carries you to the other side? I did guess like a Bridge Jump rope but then I noticed that track was missing maybe. Anyone else notice that you can see the back of one of the steps in the frame pic and Obstacle 1 is definitely a combo obstacle?

Zoomed into the pic, and I can pretty much say that the obstacle is combo.
The 45 degree landing for the steps is placed after the obstacle, so I can safely assume that it's combo.
Also, whatever it's supporting, it's slanting downwards. Look at the height of the first support and the second. Notice the height difference?
Now I can proudly say that SASUKE is back.

See I disagree... Go back to yfrog.com/eb9btj, you can see a landing mat right after it. And yes, it is still the Dome Steps. Look closer - they're just dark gray bumps now instead of green. Also the landing mats are still green.

No..... dark gray bumps are the sides of the steps. What are you looking at? ameblo.jp/pusherhiroaki/image-10681631940-10810360608.htmlIf you also look here, you see that left end of the steps (competitor's perspective) ends before the structure, and there's no landing area till the end of the structure. I can zoom in and point it out if I have to. P.S. From the same blog, you can see that 2nd part of slider jump (was that the official name?) and first part of salmon ladder are still there, given that the pictures were taken on the same day. Additional note for Arsenette: 3rd stage never uses floating mats. They are always supported by the structure (MAYBE exception on beginning of ultimate cliffhanger). P.P.S. Time to get my legos again... AFTER I FIX WHAT MY DAD DID TO THE COURSE. Edit: Arsenette, look at my P.S. note above. It's 99% second stage.

I'm fairly certain it is stage 2 since I believe you can see the end of the Slider Drop right above the exact middle of the picture. I believe you can also see the Unstable Bridge at the very top left corner.

Definitely Stage 2, You can see the stairs leading to the start line, the end of the Slider Drop, the island things and the start of the Double Salmon Ladder (Although the camera angle makes it look higher, I assume you can still just reach up to it) EDIT: Also the Shin Sasuke lighting better mean they're going to start the stage with "OPERATION ROOM" again.. I mean Hangeki no Noroshi is good but it doesn't bring that same epic feel..

Sucks they didn't set up the final so we can speculate.. though I didn't see a ladder (unless it was on the other side..)

You mean the Slider Drop? The Slider Jump is that thing in Stage 1 that replaced the Flying Chute and was replaced by the Circle Slider in 25
