1. I remember a while back, someone (Probably lostinube) announced that TBS will play "Ninja Warrior" on it's station. What ever happened to that. Did it end up happening, or was it just a rumor now forgotten?
2.How much ratings does Sasuke 25 in relation with other shows on TBS. We always compare Sasuke 25 to other shows on at that timeframe, but what about other shows on that channel. Is %7.5 low for TBS when compared to other shows on that same channel?

Well for #2 since it's filler television for the drama seasons, I'd imagine that's one of their lowest programs ever.

Is %7.5 low for TBS when compared to other shows on that same channel? 1: It wasn't quite TBS (The basic channel which we usually see Sasuke on), It was "TBS Channel", If I remember correctly that's a station that's not basic (I would assume the same way we get G4 here? Only more popular probably ) 2: I found a page with Japanese ratings.. If you put it through some kind of translator or know Japanese I'm sure there has to be something there... www.videor.co.jp/data/ratedata/top10.htm

Hm so TBS is getting anywhere from 10.9 to 12.1 which is alot more than Sasuke 25...
But still, I mean Kunoichi 8 didn't do THAT bad. Although I guess there's alot more spending money in these tournaments, so they require more ratings.
So I guess, now I'm trying to be more spesific. Is there anyway we can find out what Sasuke rates against other TBS-Obstacle Course shows like Doors or something?
Sorry for all these requests, but I assume I'm not the only one wondering here. I just need a picture as to what Sasuke needs to achieve rating wise in order to stay afloat.

The way the ratings game works is not necessarily the exact number.. it's the amount of shows they beat in that time frame. So in some cases the numbers are kinda irrelevant if that week is a slow week. Some of Sasuke's numbers were up against huge things like the friggin' Olympics and they still managed to draw a large audience AND winning their timeslot or being a strong 2nd. Sasuke 25 not only lost their timeslot for that day.. they were 2nd to last for most of the WEEK's programming. That's never happened before.
Unsure how Doors was by comparison but that has to be taken into account of not only that night but what else was going on that week in programming.
Similar to box office receipts.. some may be the #1 rated movie that week but they only made 10 million.. while during blockbuster season.. the #1 rated would have made 150 million in a weekend. it's all about perspective.

I don't really have any information about that. I can tell you that it was only recently that TBS on Demand started making a profit. Streaming media hasn't caught on in Japan like it has in the US, probably because most TV dramas can be rented once they hit DVD.
Actually, the concept of the rerun is relatively new in Japan. While the US uses it (and syndication) to pad out their schedules Japan is always churning out new shows.
