Is any of the all-stars having health problems? It seems like Nagano's heart is aching after seeing Akiyama fail in 17.

Bunpei has an injured back and knee.
Shingo and Takeda have bad shoulders.
Akiyama is nearly blind.

Nagano was in the hospital before SASUKE 20. ...So that means Yamada is injury free? Must be the spray...  |

Well, i guess his heart aching shouldnt be bad considering he WON in 17. So that doesnt really make any sense.

Nagano doesn't have any problems with his heart of all places..

To cluck the heart is a gesture that a lot of people use in Japan. Nagano, Urushihara.. heck.. even Okuyama does it. Shows like they are going "oh my that was close" or "oooooh it breaks my heart" to feel sympathy. It's more as a gesture than anything.
As for health problems all the All-stars have bumps and bruises just like everyone else. Takeda and Shingo both have shoulder problems (both have dislocated AND broken shoulders..), outside of the hereditary eye problems Akiyama has had knee surgery. Bunpei also had knee surgery and still has problem with his back that they can't figure out how to cure. Yamada has had ankle problems among other things.

"Among other things"? Out of curiosity, what other problems has Yamada had? I seem to recall something on the Japanese Wikipedia about a shoulder injury from his baseball days. Was there anything else?

He's had various injuries whether claim or real has always been an issue as far back as his Banzuke days. I'm sure Ube knows more than me since I don't really follow him that much If you see his face and body.. he's pretty banged up and stitched together.
