Where i live it's just a town and not really possible to do some parkour so where do you guys usually do it if you do. Is the only real option the city?

My city isn't that great for it either, I just try to get small stuff done, just look at things differently than you usually do, Whenever I see two walls close together I see either a Spider Walk or Body Prop (depending on the exact distance). I've seen a cart return with an angled cover, I use the metal ledge on the top of it (that gives it the shape) as the Shin Cliffhanger (and landing on an opposite angle isn't easy). Hell, I even just see things as a balance ledges, theres this one store that has a bunch of large planters, and stairs with railings, I run up the wall at the start of it, skywalk/power hanger/cliffhanger with a wall to the lege, run across the first run, jump across over the first set of stairs, more balance runs, jump down, kong vault over the rails, run across more (jumping over the gaps), kong vault across the other rail, jump down, then at then next ledge, Run up and grab the rail, then the higher part of the rail, go across, spider flip across, climb aroudnd, then jump down. What do you see that can be done on the ledges here? And this pic has some of the first ledge in there

Although make sure you don't get caught. Remember what I said before outside of that art store, well one of the employees came out while I was doing it and they said if they catch me doing it again they're going to call police.

They're afraid I'm going to hurt myself and they'll be liable, I tried to tell them I've done much worse and never gotten hurt but they don't care. WHY THE HELL DOES AN ART STORE CARE!?

I mean why do they care even after I told them how I've never gotten hurt doing much worse much higher up and how little danger their ledges and rails are. just as a last chance when they stopped me and told me to get down, I jumped from the second ledge all the way to the ground

I want to do the opposite, I wish they could be sued to let people do parkour on those ldges and rails. Very little places to do it that I know of in my city, that was one of them. And hell, if I got hurt I'd take it like a man and just get up, stop for a minute, continue with what I was doing.

On those!? XD, If I could have that happen on those I'd be too much of a wuss to be able to do Parkour, but I'm not. Although if I was doing something harder and that happened I'd just stop and not keep going.

Unfortunately, big businesses don't have very much faith in people. They would prefer it if more people had your attitude towards injuries, Rider, but if some dumb woman can sue McDonald's when she burned herself with her own coffee (from a cup labeled "Contents Hot" no less), they aren't going to take any chances with people that high up.

Thats just it! Its NOT high up!
I do (well, did) it on the second ledge, if I fall either way I'm falling into a a planter with grass and soft dirt, and I've never fallen, The only one I can sort of understand would be the jumps over the railings (and those are just kong vaults from a stopped posistion and I hold onto the rails the whole time). Can't they just have some kind of Parkour Liability Waiver or something!? This is why I Don't want mall security catching the stuff I do there (Even when I climb the cable for a rope climb I go up on the parking deck, check for security, then just quickly go over the barrier, down the closed staircase and over the chains blocking them off as fast as I can before trying it, then I start as fast as I can and usually still stop before I get to over the parking deck (its not because I can't, just don't want to get caught! XD)

Oh. Well my mistake.
Anyway, when potentially millions of dollars are on the line, they would consider one foot in the air to be too high. In fact, is it too much to ask for you to not really walk so fast? Could you watch out for those cracks a little more? Sir, could you please not walk over here? In fact, couldn't you just shop on the internet for our fine selection of Chinese made products?
Parkour liability waiver? Of course we have one of those! Now if you would just sign on lines 3, 6, 12, 15, 20, 57, and 205, and initial on every prime numbered line, we can get this processed and you can start training once everything is finished... in 10 to 15 years.

I just wish people stopped caring so much, if I was worried about getting hurt why would I do it!? Hell, Sasuke 7 and I think 5, Yamamoto Shingo dislocates his shoulder, I'm pretty sure it was Sasuke 12, Takeda Toshihiro breaks his shoulder dismounting the Pipe Slider, Sasuke 18, 5 people got injured, Sasuke 21 Mark Whitmer pulled a nerve that goes all the way up his arm on a side event the day of the competiton, not to mention more that probably happened that I don't remember, and out of all those, no one sued! and there is no liability waiver on Sasuke! And Viking had so many injuries it was canceled and I don't remember any lawsuits filed. These japanese obstacle courses do it right and the competitors honor their word! Why can't one art store do the same! I even told them I wouldn't sue and they still said no! >_<
On the plus side I think I might have found Devil Steps a couple blocks from my house (I might have to jump a fence to get to it though, I hope I was seeing things that theres not a no trespassing sign)

I might start doing Parkour soon.
My friend Sam and a few others started doing it in downtown.
Though they said there are very few places to do it, and I kinda sucks, we may travel to downtown KC and do it
(PLENTY of places there! BIG BIG BIG City =D)
But then we'd have to worry about getting shot, guess that adds to our training, escape the gunman!
Also I'm going to get ihm to try and enter ANC4. He's a beast, and he's like 25 so he's old enough.
Cheer him on if he makes it to the finals.
I think he can do it.

I have started doing parkour in my area.
the trick is not to get caught.
It really calluoses yours hands and kills your forearms.

Why do I keep losing my spots >_< I said earlier the art store told me to stop, but now they're tearing down this one playground (it says spring 2009 theres going to be a new one but they still have to take out the old one meaning one less spot. However I did get to do some cool stuff with the guard rails they took down, a couple of long bars and a shorter one I made into the Pipe Slider, then I moved them and got a smaller bar but with stoppers and did the Stick Slider, I found a peice that looks like it could be Salmon Ladder notches but I can't find a place to put it up). But on top of that I hear the mall is going to be taken down soon for a new one and that means the parking decks are going down too, however theres no sign of them even getting ready to close it so I still have some time with that.
