.. lol Anywho I didn't even know they had them... hmm.. Sasuke cards.. would I get them? Most likely.. I'm a geek that way.. Who says I'd play with them .. it's all about Pokemon.. gotta catch them all

I've heard of that game, Menko. The cards have TV characters and such on them, right? And if you have a popular card, it isn't enough just to have it. You have to play it and risk losing it.

Now I'm confused. All those cards showed Sportsman no. 1 events. Is Sportsman considered one of Banzuke's events or is it supposed to be it's own show?

Sportsman, SASUKE and KUNOICHI were all a part of the Kinniku Banzuke franchise. The spin-offs kept going after Kinniku Banzuke went off the air.
For example, even though the PS2 game had SASUKE and Sportsman No. 1 events it was still a Kinniku Banzuke game.
In addition, the last Sportsman No. 1 special was mainly based around Kinniku Banzuke footage. Since there is no Kinniku Banzuke proper, you could sort of consider it as now being under the banner of Sportsman No. 1.
