Well, Nagano wore #99 in Sasuke 25. He didn't do too well, with a fall on the Circle Slider.
Will he stay at 99? Or will he move down to 98 or 97?

Personally I think he will keep the 99. If the same thing happens again he will get bumped to 98 or 97.

I hope hes 99. I hate to admit it but Naganos starting to lose his luster and his number will start going down.

No one competitor stood out enough to warrant 99, I don't think, so he'll probably get it again, but will struggle to hang on to it unless he performs very well next time. Then again, with M9's crazy numbering systems you never really know.
My instinct, based on following this for a long time and general guesswork, is that he'll be given 99 to heap up the pressure on him (like Yamada), and Hashimoto will get 98.

For me it's 96 like a 10 to 11.

Yes him and Yuuji will both keep 99 and 100 respectively.

I think he will stay at 99 because noone else has done enough to deserve it IMO.

He will still be 99 of course, he is the hero of sasuke and the greatest competitor of them all in history of course the show is going to keep showing respect to that and he keeps his place in the spotlight.

I .. kinda like the top 3 being the champions thehehehehehe I doubt it will be that way but with Nagano's result in 25 I doubt he'd be 100 again.

If he gets further than Yuuji a few times then they might give him 100 again. I hate to admit it but i doubt that Nagano will get further than Yuuji 3 times in a row.
As for last 3 being champions it is kind of neat but you cant forget Akiyamas eyesight. Most likely he will be running at nighttime. That pretty much means almost no chance of passing the circle slider if he gets over the wall.

I didn't think he'd make the bridge jump considering he couldn't SEE IT AT ALL (lol) but he failed at the wall. Also.. I don't think sun would help him for the circle slider. He's not a good springboard guy as evidenced by 17. Not being able to see it doesn't stop him from jumping hard and taking a leap of faith (i.e. Jump Hang in 25).

I wouldn't want Akiyama to be 98 because of his eyesight. Give him a good, yet important, lower number like #71 or #81 so at least he has a better chance at seeing the "run and catch" obstacles.

Why doesn't Akiyama get eye surgery or wear contacts?! I felt so bad for him, yet so good that he made it as far as he did!

I'm pretty sure those won't help because of what his condition is, it's not like it's a regular eye problem... If that was an option don't you think he would have done it already?

I figured he might not have had the money for it. What about replacing his eyes with new ones? Oooo, or robotic ones!
