The Rapid Descent in Sasuke 1 was mechanical?

So go back and watch Sasuke 1, more specifically the Rapid Descent. Something I noticed, is the 3rd barrel is rotating. I thought maybe the competitor previous had caused it to roll, but even the very first competitor had this situation, as well as most (If not all) had the same thing.

Don't know if people were aware of this since it's not on the Sasukepedia, but I thought I'd let you guys know what I found

I really like the rapid descent, sucks you could pretty much jump over the entire obstacle though.

Yeah... Like really old news..
Can't be that important when they decided in Sasuke 2 that it wasn't worth keeping..

But yeah.. A bunch of people (hell.. I think I was one of them) pointed that out back when G4 first showed Sasuke 1...

Its such a simple obstacle but look at all the variations there have been of it,
Plank Bridge, Odama, Bridge Jump, probably more i can't think of off hand
