In Kunoichi 8 on the Swing Jump obstacle in the first stage, alot of people touched the water but they were still able to attempt the Net Climb.
I thought that touching the water was a DQ in all cases.
Is this just another stupid rule Kuniochi made?

It was a rule just for the "Burancho"/Swing Jump obstacle just because of the design of the obstacle. They let it be legal for your feet to dip in the water just because it'd be unfair if you land it perfectly and the island sank disqualifying you, The people who fell were just something they probably overlooked with the rule.
Also in K8 they pretty much guaranteed clears and wanted someone to win so that's probably another reason they did that

What he said Though from what it looked like.. if you landed ON the mat but touched out to the water you were fine. If you were falling INTO the water (with both feet) and then got back on the mat you were done. Still.. didn't like the rule.. but then again.. K8 pissed me off how non-Sasuke it felt. That said.. if it wasn't called Kunoichi I might have enjoyed it better honestly.. I just felt cheated that we tuned in to see Kunoichi after 2 years waiting and this is the crap that was waiting for us. I wouldn't have called it Female Sasuke since it didn't have anything to do with Sasuke in the first place. Here's hoping for Kunoichi to come back but this time to go back to the 1-7 format of 1 person at a time and more traditional Kunoichi obstacles.

It just seemed like any jump seemed like it was legal, then someone else did it and they were DQ'ed.
Atleast I know now..

This was actually one of the few new rules I could stand... As Rider said, that obstacle was so poorly designed that the island could dip your foot in even if you were on it. Also what if the woman next do you flails out of control and bumps your island? Its hard enough to hit a stationary one, but now try a moving target, Overall it was probably a good thing that they let those go.
