...the distance from the end of the Pipe Slider to the Stage 3 ending platform? I've always wondered how far this jump was, especially since so many people have failed it. However, I'm yet to come across an accurate measurement for this difficult "obstacle". Anybody have an idea for this?

It was very short in 2, and extended in 4. Next, I think that it was extended again in 9 to 1.5 m in 9-13 and 1.7 m in 14-17.

It amazes me that even though the platform was directly below the end of the Pipe Slider track in 2 and 3, some people managed to fail it.

Wow. If I converting correctly, 1.7 meters is about 6 feet or so. Either way, 4.5 feet to 6 feet is pretty ridiculous. Now that I think about this, I can see why this jump was so tough to make, especially after someone's tired from doing the rest of Stage 3. Thanks guys.

Judging by that pic only, the gap looks to be about 1.5 meters, since they would be making everything in metric. Personally, I think the gap changed in the following tournaments: 2-3 - 0 meters 4-8 9-12 13 14-17 - 1.5 meters

4.5 ft roughly equals 1.5 meters, so our measurements are pretty much in agreement

The distance was never the problem, it was the pipe always sliding back. You could never keep it still, nor get any good kip off the bar to land on the platform.

That picture definitely proves that the jump is closer to about 4.5 feet like Sheep said. Yamfriend, did you know this is the 666th thread in the Previous Tournaments Section?! LOL I feel so special.
