Several of the top competitors from Shin-SASUKE and SASUKE 25 have the possibility of breaking a couple extremely difficult records.
First Stage Consecutive Clear Record: Nagano and Takeda (SASUKE 11-18) - 8 straight tournaments
Lee Enchi (21-25) - 5 tournaments Okuyama (22-25) - 4 tournaments Urushihara (22-25) - 4 tournaments and then several people are currently at 3 straight: Kongu, Hashimoto, Brian, Takeda, Sato Jun
Reaching the Third Stage in Consecutive Tournaments: Takeda (11-17) - 7 straight tournaments
Okuyama (22-25) - 4 tournaments Kongu (23-25) - 3 tournaments
Do you think any of these people can break the record?

I honestly don't know. It's a 30% yes, they can and 70% no, they won't. Usually Sasuke is too unpredictable to make this sort of predictions, so when it comes to things like this I just write what my guts tell me.

I don't think anyone's beating Takeda's 3rd Stage streak. That's just insanely impressive.
But I'd give good odds to Lee Enchi, Urushihara, and Kongu to break the 1st Stage streak.

No way the 3rd stage streak will be touched, the 2nd stage is a lot harder than it was then. Back then it was essentially just a race to the finish and then the Metal Spin for a couple tournaments of it. I think beween that group someone can pass stage 1 enough times, I think the killer is will there be enough Sasukes.

I think the killer is will there be enough Sasukes. Good point. I think Kongu can do it, but he might run out of Sasuke's before he gets close. Looks like Enchi will be the best bet then.

Ok lets see.....
First Stage -
Lee - He has about a 50/50 chance here. He can clear the first stage 4 more times if he doesnt screw up somewhere. Okuyama - This guy amazes me but I have a feeling he will fail the first stage either in 26 or 27. Both times he failed the first stage were cut. So we have never seen him fail. I think he has about a 30/70 chance of clearing 5 more times in a row. Urushihara - Too early to predict. Kongu - ehh. Hes had close calls before but clearing 6 more times in a row i dont think he can pull it off.
EDIT - (Yamfriend said this about 3 months ago Hashimoto - Too early to predict. Brian - He might pull if off. About 40/60 Jun Sato - 20/80 ATM.
Reaching the 3d stage - I doubt anybody can beat Takeda in this. I think Kongu has the best chance right now considering he never failed the second stage.

Wow thats amazing on Takeda's part, I didn't even realize he went to stage three all those times, he seems to be the most consistant competitor of the 2nd era.
We could see records like the stage 1 record being broken now seeing how the stage is now less difficult and easier to pass than the Shin-Sasuke era was. I think Lee can definitely do it if he keeps a level head and doesn't get cocky, so far he seems to not let that get the most of him so I think he might do it. I'd like to see Urushihara do it too but his results are a little too varied to say he will do it.

Lee Enchi and Okuyama probably have the best chance of getting the First Stage Streak. Maybe Yuuji, but pressure for being the champion might hurt his chances.
Kongu is on fire lately. He WILL beat the Third Stage record. He has never failed Stage Two and don't think he ever will.
Hashimoto started a little too late to break the streak. But I still think he is a great competitor who will consistently make it to Stage Three. Same with Sato Jun but with Stage Two.

No offence, but I don't think anyone will beat these records.
Especially Takeda's record.

I think there is a chance but you also gotta consider that if a 'Sasuke 19' wasnt pulled Nagano would be at 11 straight tournaments.

Kongu is on fire lately. He WILL beat the Third Stage record. He has never failed Stage Two and don't think he ever will. But unless he clears Stage 2 in every tournament until Sasuke 30, it's not gonna happen. He would have to do this in consecutive tournaments in order to beat Takeda's Stage 2 clear record (which he did by clearing Stage 2/getting to Stage 3 7 tournaments in a row). IMO, it's more likely that the Stage 1 clear record will be beaten than the Stage 2 clear record. After all, Okuyama's almost 40 now and I don't think he'll be able to keep this up long enough in order to do so. And although Kongu's got a chance at breaking it, I could see him slipping up on Stage 1 in an upcoming tournament (don't forget how close he was to failing the Circle Slider in 25). Also, in all honesty, I could see there being a somewhat more difficult Stage 1 in 26 and on that could destroy the chances of the Stage 1 clear record being broken or tied, though if you had to ask me, Li has the best chance since he's closest to reaching it at this point and has only failed Stage 1 in 1 out of his 7 competitions. Nobody else has been as consistent in the more recent competitions.

Li En Zhi might break the streak for the most Stage 1 victories in a row, as might Okuyama. Hell, Okuyama might have a shot at the Stage 2 streak as well. Other than that, doubtful.

Once again the All-Stars continue to dominate.

Li is gonna break it. Not just because he is the closest, but because he is a strong performer who can't be stopped by anything in the first stage.
