What was the first Sasuke you saw and how did you hear about it. For example, the first Sasuke I watched was 22 after I saw a commercial for it on G4 while flipping through the channels. ;D

My first Sasuke was about a year ago. My family had switched to digital cable and we got a couple extra channels. One was G4 and I happened upon the show. I had seen Viking a few years back, so naturally, Sasuke reminded me of that. After being able to watch several episodes On Demand, I was hooked

Ah I remember perfectly now. 2007, Sasuke 3, Final Stage, Shingo Yamamoto. To be exact.

Sasuke 14 on G4. Me and my friend were talking about how cool it looked and then I found this site and watched Sasuke and got hooked.

IIRC, the first competition that I saw was Sasuke 8 on G4 around summer/fall of 2007. I only remember this because I can recall seeing Jordan Jovtchev and Kane Kosugi on the Final Stage in one of the first tournaments (if not the first one) that I watched. Since then, I've only become more and more hooked to this awesome show, though I think I only started training for it back around summer of 2008. Surprisingly, I didn't come across this site until last fall. Ah, this all brings back memories...

Don't remember.
When I first watched Ninja Warrior I thought it was stupid MXC (I didn't hate MXC, I thought G4 just ripped it off, and that was that) but than after seeing clips of it after Xplay, I started to get interested in the obstacles.
Than competitors
Than everything else. No idea what tournament it was though.

I didnt even know this forum existed. I watched 21, 22, and 23 on youtube. Then i had enough of getting 'spoiled'. Im sure i woulda found it much earlier but i never posted or read on g4 forums.

First one I watched was Sasuke 17 around Spring or Summer of 2007. A friend of mine in the neighborhood was watching it when I came over. After a few months I started getting into the show. Yet the friend who got me into it was never too into the show as I ended up being, he just liked watching it from time to time.

At first I turned the TV off when I saw "NInja Warrior" about to start. I thought it was some G4 crap like Takeshi's Castle (I simply hated that show). Than one day I casually tuned in to see if Guinnes World Records was on, and saw...I think...Sasuke 11. Somebody was doing the Jump Hang, and I just went...OMFG WHAT IZ THAT STUFF i WANN TRY WANNA TRY WANNA TRYYYYY!!! I couldn't understand jack squat about the names because I was too stunned by the course to pay attention on who was running. I couldn't manage top find the right timeslot for about one week (stupid GXT...changing schedule every single day!!),and when I finally found it again it had started again from Sasuke 6. At first my favourite competitors was Yamada..because it was the only name I could remember, LOL! Then Shingo, then I watched Sasuke 8 and saw *a fisherman* blazing through the course only to die on the wall. "...ooooh...he's cute...yay he smiles!Aww stupid wall.Wow.Hope to see this guy in the next episode." You shall know the rest

I don't remember what my first tournament was, but I remember that Shingo was the first competitor that I learned to recognize. What first caught my attention about him was his hat. Seriously. I like wearing baseball hats, and when I watched the show I noticed that Shingo was wearing one.

It was Summer of 2007, I remember the day, it was a Saturday because for some reason I was watching ABC Kids that morning. After browsing around I saw G4 had something called "Ninja Warrior" and this was back when the opening graphics were yellow and the obstacle bar was black. I don't remember the tournament specifically, but I do remember it was a tournament with black mats. So between 13-17, likely 13 or 14 because I only saw 17 during the Ninja Warrior graphic redesign (because I had looked up Nagano's win already).

I saw 20 first, I believe. I saw a WoNW competition(3?) at my friend's house, then i looked for it at home. 20 was the next showing.

Kunoichi 1. Yoko Mori was climbing up the first stage's Escape Ladder and ran out of time.

Yamamoto was also the first guy I began recognizing. Probably because he was in every tournament. . And he was the first person I ever saw on Sasuke. Sasuke 3, final .

Well I was flipping through channels, and I saw something called Ninja Warrior, and I thought this seems interesting enough since nothing else is on, so I'll give it a shot. And I'm pretty sure the first one I saw was the final stage of Sasuke 17 way back in early spring of 2007 I think, and the first run I saw was Nagano's, and my mouth was open cause I was in such awe. Then, I saw that they were gonna replay the 3rd Stage and Final Stage later, and I watched it again. Then, I went to try the cliffhanger on the Ibeams in my basement, and I put up a pretty good effort for someone who at the time could only do one pullup haha.

First I saw as Ninja Warrior was Kunoichi, I think 4, it was during stage 1, Saw the rest of the tournament and then they showed part of 5.
If you mean first Sasuke I saw and Kunoichi doesn't count, it was Sasuke 15, Also as Ninja Warrior, Didn't know there was a version of Ninja Warrior everyone could compete in at the time XD
If you mean first Japanese broadcast I saw it was Sasuke 19 which I saw after G4 had already aired it.. Since the start was missing up until Lance Tarvend's run the first FULL Japanese broadcast I saw was 20, which also was after G4 aired the tournament.
Or do you mean first one I saw the same day as it aired? Because that was 21 back when I had my old computer and couldn't stream so I downloaded all the parts through a youtube downloader back when theguy was still up..
If you mean first LIVE broadcast that was Sasuke 22..
Now I completely have no life for remembering all this..
