I know we have "Create your own Sasuke obstacle" thread somewhere in the General Sasuke board, so I thought of an idea to have a thread dedicated to making your own Kinniku Banzuke (Unbeatable Banzuke) events. I'll start with an idea that I thought of a while back. It's basically a sound-proof room that you are in and must be as quiet as possible while making it through the obstacles. The catch is that if you make a noise over a certain amount of decibels, you're eliminated. I guess I'd call it something like "True Ninja Warrior" or something like that. Anyone else have some ideas?

I've thought of one:
One foot Hop- A course that must be completed while hopping on one foot. There is a break zone and you must hop on a different foot for each half:
One Foot Hop I
1.) Down Ramp- A 30 degree downhill ramp that drops for 3 feet. 2.) Gaps- two separate 2 feet gaps. 3.) Trampoline- An olympic sized trampoline that must be crossed. 4.) Rollers- A 10 feet by 3 feet series of rollers. Break Zone 5.) Converyor Belt- A converyor belt that moves 3mph in the opposite direction of the contestant. - a small elevator lifts the contestants up- 6.) Big Drop- a 3 foot drop 7.) Narrow Beam- A 7 foot beam with a width of 4 inches followed by a perpendicular 7 foot beam with a width of 3 inches 8.) Staircase- 15 steps that are one feet tall each.

Wheel-barrow.
Like, when you have 2 people, and one holds the others feet while they walk on their hands. And half way through the course they switch. I'm too tired to think of any obstacles right now though.

Human Super Rider. Your hands are tied together, and so are your feet. You have to pass a Super Rider-like course. Safety issues would be everywhere but hey, it's fictional jfeathe haha yeah I thought about that too

I always thought a three-legged-race type of course would be funny.

Egg Balance (I know, bad name)
Basically you have to hold a spoon holding an egg and go through a small course. Dropping the egg would result in a DQ.
1. Small Pit- You jump over a pit 2 feet wide 2. Conveyor Throw- You have to walk over a conveyor belt going 3 mph and random objects will be in your way, rafts, giant stuffed animals 3. Large Pit- You jump across a pit 4 feet wide 4. Slopes- You have to climb a small slope, then a large slope, and finally a high slope. 5. Balance Beam- Walk across a balance beam

Balance Breaker(sucks, yeah)
Just a giant balance beam with twists and turns and even a spinning beam. Oh, and to make it harder, make it unstable and put a time limit on it.

The game show "Challengers of Fire" has (had?) a number of challenges that were in this vein. One course I remember seeing involved two people holding opposite ends of a chain of 12 cans they had to keep together by pushing in towards each each other while traversing an obstacle course under a time limit.
Another challenge involved blowing a ping pong ball through an obstacle course using a thing tube to guide your breathed air stream.
Quite entertaining, but I suggest caution for anyone considering downloading episodes from torrents. I've not found any that were actually what I intended to download.

I thought up an idea for a monkey bar course, but then realised that it was almost exactly the same as the Monkey Bars: Road to SASUKE trials that they did a long time ago.
However I do have ideas for my pipe-slider-esque course. PIPE SLIDER 1. Straightaway (I know, generic Banzuke name but couldn't think of anything) Simple pipe slider. 2. Ascent - Think the ANW pipe slider but going upwards. 3. Descent - ANW pipe slider
BREAK ZONE
4. Salmon Ladder - Need I explain? 5. Stick Slider - Once you reach the end of the stick slider, you need to jump off the pipe and catch another one further along, which is on a seperate track. Think the jumping bars with pipes. 6. Leap of Faith - The iconic final pipe slider jump.

Wow, that's a pretty well-thought out and interesting Pipe Slider course. I can visualize it already.
The only thing I'd even think to suggest is an adjustment to the Ascent part. Instead of it being the Descent in reverse, you could have the Ascent be a shallow staircase (like 12 steps up each 1/3 as tall as the drops from ANW). Then you can encourage the contestant to attempt to climb the staircase by 'walking' the pipe up the steps one side at a time. You've already got the Salmon Ladder, so this would increase variety. Given you're course idea as it is, though, you might come up with something even more interesting and creative.
-----------------
I'm working on writing up a full course idea of my own, but here's the concept.
Teams of 2 participate where each contestant has their own half of the course to run. The contestants hold opposite ends of a 10 foot pole which they must carry through the course without allowing the pole to touch any part of the course between them.
Ultimately, it's a bit of a combination of Nakama, Ottoto 9, and Iraira-Bo (a Challengers of Fire classic).

I do have an idea for a couple of modifications to that course too. add a couple more areas. Right after the descent put in the Slider Jump where you jump to a rope on two poles (Think Flying Chute) instead of a net, from there you go to the Break Zone. (Maybe to up the difficulty of this part of the course use a standard Pipe Slider bar since thats what took out alot of people at ANW). For the second part of the course instead of the Stick Slider put in the Slider Drop since it seems to be similar as what you're doing anyways so why not add a small bit of difficulty without making too much of a difference what you had there

Cliff Hanger: basically a long course of cliff hanger. 1. Straight ledge 2. Descending ledge 3. Ascending ledge BREAK ZONE 4. Straight Ledge 5. Upwards gap 6. Downwards gap 7. Final Jump
4-6 is basically cliff hanger v.3, 7 is the shin-cliff hanger jump, except maybe a little longer.

I thought of another one. dodging hammers: basically three levels of dodging hammers, with ten in each one. 1. normal hammers, like on SASUKE. 2. wider balance beam, hammers swing faster. 3. thinner balance beam, same speed as level one hammers.

If you couldn't tell, I'm basing my ideas on sasuke obstacles. It can give you some pretty good ideas. Anyway, my new one: Big ball. (I would have called it giant ball, but you should know why I didn't use it.) It's basically giant ball, except your standing on top of the ball and moving it with your feet. Obstacles: 1. Straightaway 2. Maze 3. Sharp Turn 4. Descent (Stupid name, I know) 5. Balance Beam Got this from the Odama, or big boulder.

You love wipeout don't ya?
Anyways about that egg obstacle I have some more ideas. Maybe a egg balance II? 0+++++START+++++0 1. Pit Jump (5 consecutive 50 cm gaps, last one 100 cm) 2. Devil Steps (same as the devil steps in stg 3 but you'll have to hop up it using one foot) 3. Duodecatuple Step (sextuple step with 11 steps instead of 5) 4. Balance Walk ( 40 cm x 20 m balance beam, you have to carry a 20kg sack using your other hand) 0- - - - -BREAK ZONE- - - - -0 5. Twin Slopes (2 slopes, first slope 30 degrees 5 m long, second slope 45 degrees 3 meters long) 6. conveyor belt (get past a conveyor belt 10km/h, with 15 cm gaps on the belt that you must get through) 7. Ledge Walk (sasuke 6) 8. Hanger Jump (like cliff hanger 3, jump up a pit 50 cm high, then jump down a pit 80 cm below, both pits 50 cm wide) 0- - - - -BUTTON- - - - -0 Sets a 15 second time limit for the final obstacle 9. Final Dash (run along a 50m long track before time expires) 0+++++GOAL+++++0
