This is hardly thread worthy but I am bored sitting in a computer lab, and I wanted to ask if Nagano is a lefty or not? I haven't paid much attention but I did notice that on the Salmon Ladder he looks straight at his left hand almost entirely, and that is what I do as well(being a lefty myself), so I'm thinking he could be a lefty.

Hmm, cool. Thanks I wonder why he stares his left hand down then, I guess he is keeping an eye on his "weaker" hand

Yamada is the only one of the All-Stars who is left-handed. From what I understand about Japanese culture, it's actually kind of unusual that someone his age is left-handed. It used to be that Japanese children who were left-handed were forced to become right-handed because being left-handed was considered a sign of being weak-minded. I don't know whether or not that's still true today.

That happened all the time here too. In fact, most of the (grown-up) lefties I know also can use their right hand because of that. Back on topic, actually I never noticed that about Nagano, venom. He usually checks both his hands when he's spider walking, climbing etc, but I never paid attention about that on the Salmon Ladder, so I might have missed that.

It used to be that Japanese children who were left-handed were forced to become right-handed because being left-handed was considered a sign of being weak-minded. I don't know whether or not that's still true today. The basis behind that is (and I don't know too much about the subject) but if you use your right hand... you're more left brained. If you use your left hand.... you're more right brained. Now what does that mean you ask? Being left brained means in a way that you're smart. You're the kid who can do well in math, remember facts... etc. That doesn't mean everyone who is right handed will get straight A's in school.... but that's what the basis of it is. You're more suited to it. Being left handed is the more artistic side. Chances are you'll be better at arts and crafts, you'll have a musical talent etc. of course with 6 billion people in the world there are plenty of exceptions. It doesn't mean right handed people can't be artists or anything, it just means out of both sides of your brain, that one is the more excersized. That is also why a lot of people work on becoming abidextrous. It's good to use both sides of your brain. So yeah... if you use your left hand I could see why Japan would think you're "dumb" because you're right brain is stronger than your left, meaning your dumb. Or I guess that's what they thought.

I kinda wished Nagano was left-handed, then I'd boast Meh, Yamada suffices for now. (I'm left handed if you didn't realize in the first part of this post)

(I'm left handed if you didn't realize in the first part of this post) Yea, it would have been nice if he was part of the club too (I'm also lefty ) but Yamada isn't bad. Now, if one of the other All-Stars or even someone like Urushihara was lefty, that would be just as cool.
