Brian really made this Sasuke a fun one to watch. His 2nd stage performance was the closest one and reminded me of when he cleared stage 1 with only like a second left back in Sasuke 21. I was very happy that he made it to stage 3 since only 5 people did so. I talked to him on facebook and congratulated him, he thanked me and was also wondering where he could find a stream/download of yesterday's show. I'm tempted to ask him to join this forum but I don't know if there is a download link yet.

When he was at the end of the Balance Tank with 20 seconds left, I honestly thought he would time out. I was amazed and so happy when he cleared. He deserved to try Third Stage and after four attempts he did. Go Brian!

He did great and it's kool seeing someone who's like twice the size of some competitors having a go.
I really wanna see Travis Schraeder come back. Anyone know what happened to him? i honestly think he could've got total victory back in the day.

I think I woke up people in Scotland with my shouting when Brian passed the second stage. I was sooooo happy. Also, this was the first time on Sasuke (not counting the ANW trials) where Brian managed to outdo Levi Meeuwenberg.

It's really cool to see Mr Orosco getting that little bit further each time. Salmon Ladder, then Unstable Bridge, now Stage 3. If he keeps going at this rate we may even see him in the Final! This is what perseverance does for you. I hope he does even better in 26.

"Thank Alex! I definitely had fun. If it's not fun, why even do it?"
Well, at least Brian knows why he's doing SASUKE.

I already did, just waiting to see if he does it now. BTW, he also told me this: "I don't think any of the obstacles are difficult in and of themselves. But the transition from the double salmon ladder to the unstable bridge was hard because my arms were shot."

That's what I thought. With Takeda's failure on the Double Salmon Ladder, I had a feeling that to go from the one version to a double version, it had to wear out his arms, especially so soon.

The thing is, Takeda just seems to run out of energy all of a sudden. It's like one time he's string enough and then the next...
I don't think the Double Salmon Ladder is much of a difficulty change, but it does get to you mentally.

I can see how he failed the Doorknob Grasper now.....probably wasn't thinking too much about it and didn't notice his grip was off. Sorta like how I was holding my doorknob to go upstairs not paying attention how I held it and next thing I know I'm falling backward.
