Well After Akiyama's Kazenseiha, it was CLEAR he wasn't the star of the show, it was Yamada. They alternated 99&100. Then in Sasuke 10 Akiyama got 81 (well 981) and Yamada got 100 (Well, 1000), as if he was a regular competitor.
Now my question is, will Yuuji be treated like Akiyama in this sense, and Nagano treated like Yamada. Nagano as the true star, and Yuuji as the side show? OR Will Yuuji be treated rightfully and as the current SASUKE champion be given 100 for atleast a few straight tournaments?

Depends entirely on performance.

Depends entirely on performance. Excatly. I believe that akiyama wasn't the star of sasuke because while he was failing the jump hang, Yamada was (painfully) failing the pipe slider. I believe that if it was the other way around Akiyama would definetly of been the star.

They are right, its all about performance. Akiyama definitely would not have gotten lower numbers later in the game if he was about to perform better constantly. But he failed the first stage, what? Like 7 times in a row after winning? Now I think Yuuji has far more skill(measured against course difficulty) than Akiyama ever did so I think Yuuji will be able to perform alot better overall and probably be equal with Nagano in the near future as the two main stars of the show.

Well it really depends. If nagano gets further than yuuji in 25, i wouldnt be surprised if they give nagano 100 in 26.

I think Yuuji should stay 100 (for a long time, at least) simply because he won more recently than Nagano did. His victory was harder, therefore he is above Nagano number-wise. I think there's a difference between Yuuji and Akiyama, though. Akiyama really isn't that good. He won in 4 and, if I remember correctly, didn't do very well afterward. Then he went away for a while and the course has changed so much that now he can't even clear stage one. I think he's just about done unless he dramatically improves somehow. Yuuji, on the other hand, is more like Nagano me thinks. He won but it's very clear that he's quite skilled. I think Yuuji will continue to do well (with occasional mishaps along the way, they happen to everyone) like Nagano. So... yeah.

If Nagano makes it to stage 3 a couple times and Yuuji is failing stage 1, switch them back, otherwise no.

I still think naganos final was harder.

Akiyama's victory was, for want of a better word, a fluke, in my mind.

The thing is, Sasuke in the early days (1-4) was not meant to be as difficult as it it now. The level of the competitors has increased drastically over the years. Akiyama's victory was amazing for it's time and expectations.

I still think that maybe it was a one off that Akiyama won, no offence to Akiyama fans but I think that he was always good at rope climbing and it was a fluke he passed stage 3 and it was only luck tat he was good at rope climbing. But (no matter how much it pains me to say it) Nagano has the skills and his win was not a fluke, same thing for Yuuji.
