Most competitors usually dont do very well after a good run. Example - Both Sasuke 23 finalists failed first stage in 24.
I said 3. I do not know which 3 but i think 3 will.

I'm very confident about two of them, and as for the other three... well, don't know how hard the stage is, but I'd say 3 or 4/5. Leaning towards 4.

I said most competitors rider. Especially in shin sasuke where only few were consistent.

Both Finalists from 17 got to the third stage 17's finalists in 18 are the exception to the rule. For the most part, they have underperformed. Let's use your example and go with Yuuji in 23. He failed the Second Stage. Most thought he would go all the way again, and on a course that was very close to the one he made to the Final a tournament before, I would say that 23 is a bad performance. Just about everyone does, Yamada and Shingo always have terrible tournaments after good ones. Okuyama in 21, Levi in 21, Nagano in Shin-SASUKE had good then bad tournaments one after the other. The list can go on and on for elite competitors, very few actually have consistency every tournament. Back on topic, I can 4 or all 5 clearing stage 1. Nothing in Stage 1 so far has popped up as being truly difficult like in Shin-SASUKE's First Stage, so if that is the case, I could see most, if not all of them, clearing.

I don't think the First Stage will be the killer it was in 18-22. Still, it's new so probably 1 will fail it. I said 4/5.

I estimated about 3/5 will pull through, although that depends on how hard the new 1st stage is.

I said all of them. I'm probably wrong, but here's my reasoning: Yuuji Urushihara: He hasn't failed the first stage since his first tournament. After that, he made it to the final, then the second, then the final again. I can't see him rebounding back further than the second. Lee Enchi: The only time he has ever failed the first stage was the 18th tournament. It's possible the redesign could throw him off again, but I doubt it. He's come a long way. Koji Hashimoto: He came ridiculously close to kanzenseiha. I'm pretty sure he'll have the ability to make it past stage one. Besides, I'm pretty sure we saw him doing the new Cliff Hanger in the trailer. Yoshiyuki Okuyama:He has been doing better in successive tournaments, and is very consistent otherwise. Besides his first tournament and Sasuke 21, he has never failed the first stage. Kenji Takahashi: Maybe because I'm optimistic, but after his 23rd and 24th tournies, I can't see him failing a full two stages earlier.

I think at least 3 will pass the first stage. Even though they are under pressure to do good especially looking at their last showing, they have all known there will be a course rebuild and have all undoubtedly trained extra hard for the unknown obstacles. That and from the little we have seen it looks like the biggest changes are in stage 3, stage one will be very new, but not all that much more challenging(or so it seems) so my vote was for 3, but I could easily see 4 of them making it.

IIRC, didn't someone post something on here about him saying that he was one of top 10 best-performing competitors in Sasuke 25? If this is true, I wouldn't be surprised if he at least passed Stage 2. Put this in spoiler tags just in case.

It was in the most cryptic blog ever.

For me it's 3/5 but I voted 2:p Enchi and Okuyama just for their consistency, and Hashimoto.....you know.
