Thought I should probably make this a new thread. tw.myblog.yahoo.com/n428/article?mid=3882&sc=1Besides the obvious fact that the three Americans are there, what he's saying here literally was that his overall performance in this tournament was in the "one-digits", which is a convoluted way of saying he was somewhere from 1st to 9th best if you rank how far each person got, as they are wont to do in Taiwan. He says he's "done Taiwan proud" so that's a good sign...right?

Another set of evidence is that they finished taping just before 2 am the following day.

Lee enchi probably was one of few to make it to the third stage along with probably 3 other competitors anyone else agree?

Another set of evidence is that they finished taping just before 2 am the following day. Haven't they finished around that time when someone made the Final Stage before? (To others looking at this, I'm not looking for a fight/debate/argument about contemplating someone possibly made the Final, I'm just asking a question that isn't a impossibility, Shingo ALMOST made it himself, keeping in mind he was only one of three to past that day; I don't want any crap about how 5 in comparison should be a cakewalk compared to what 25 may be.)

What the time frame is leaning towards is a definite stage 1 completion with a possible full stage 2 and a possible 3. Conceivably a final but I wouldn't bet on it. Still a long day even with technical mishaps is a good thing to be taping around 2 am. Shows people got at least deep into the course. I don't think the final though but maybe like a Sasuke 18.

Well, maybe they did a race again.

Maybe they started late. Maybe someone had to get a re-do due to obstacle malfunction. Maybe there was an obstacle that took ages to reset. Maybe the final was reached.
The possibilities are endless.

I'm assuming that there were a TON of obstacle malfunctions and what not, especially if there are a lot of new obstacles in the First Stage. SASUKE 18 was night time by #51 so its not much of a stretch to also think that 25's First Stage went deep into the night. The 2pm time slot to me, makes it seem like at least 1-3 people made it to the Third Stage, but definitely no Final was attempted. Just my thoughts on the situation.

Well, the first stage could have been like 175 seconds or something.
Or, there might have been a lot of obstacles involving extensive resetting.
Seeing as the producers don't have a good track record of "perfect renewals," perhaps people slipped through seemingly impassible obstacles.

Well Sasuke 18 had a marathon late start - the latest of all Sasuke's ever recorded in recent history. They also had massive technical failures (cough anyone remember that first now defunct obstacle) and 3 people in Stage 3 and they finished around midnight. So 2 am even with late starts sounds promising. So far nothing I found seems to indicate a marathon. Hoping there was no marathon..

Being in top 9 makes it seem like atleast 9 people beat stage 1, and I don't see that, so I wouldn't say this confirms stage 3 or final at all. Now I'm assuming maybe 2 people will make it to stage 3, but to me this doesn't prove anything and it's all baseless speculation.
Come on guys, just sit back and enjoy. You don't have to know everything before the live showing =)

If ANYONE got Kanzenseiha TBS would be letting people know about it for their promotions for it (17, 24) and while we wouldn't see it they'd be yelling every swear word in every language right now XD
But being in the top 9 just means he didn't have another Sasuke 18, for all we know only 9 people made it to the last obstacle of stage 1 and he timed out/failed (depends on what is there). If you ask me I think you guys are reading far too into this

Well if he says single digits then he probobly got the 9th furthest, or 8th.

Well if he says single digits then he probobly got the 9th furthest, or 8th. I agree. If not 9th then certainly in the bottom four. It would be a very funny way of saying it if he had gotten, say, 4th, as top 5 is much easier to say and also sounds better. Won't even go into if he got top 3. And I agree with Rider; Lee's words by themselves mean squat when it comes to actual results. The only thing we can go by is Elsie's 2 am time for that.

Perverted eh. Maybe m9 got aload of ten year old gir... I won't continue.
I think what he means is that a super hard obstacle ended the tournament and it's so hard it's nearly unfair.
