Picked up an interesting tidbit off of the G4 website about Ninja Warrior. I've often heard that it is constantly a top-rated show for G4 from several people, but here is some additional proof. Apologies in advance to those who hate Neal Tiles *cough* Arsenette *cough*! “I noticed that "Attack of the Show" no longer airs at 10 pm, but at 1 am. Why the time-slot change? I'm usually not home in time to catch the 7 pm show, and actually look forward to watching AOTS after a long day of work and school. Do you really think sticking more episodes of "Ninja Warrior" is a smart move ratings-wise? Will AOTS return to the 10 pm spot?”user: KevInLA2008
Some aspects of our schedule are consistently being optimized and/or reinvigorated based on what we see from ratings trends. We’ve occasionally moved around the first re-air of AOTS…from 11PM to 10PM to 1AM. This is all based on a series of things, most importantly what we feel will work best considering what’s on right before it and right after it. With respect to your question about Ninja Warrior, it’s continually at the very top of the list in terms of our highest-rated shows for the key demo of men 18-34…so, yeah, I do think it’s a “smart move”.[/b][/color][/i] www.g4tv.com/opensource.aspx(the last question at the bottom)

If they don't want women watching their shows, to all women reading, write the answers Cops, Cheaters, Hurl, Super Big Product Fun Show (if that isn't already canceled) and that new Human Wrecking Balls looks like its going to suck so write that in too.

They need to stop this 'key demo' nonsense. Ratings are ratings. I don't know who knows what around here, but I know this is a widely held misconception along Madison Street. The idea is that men 18-34 either have the most disposable income or are just more likely to spend money, so the best way to get mondo ad bucks is to appeal to this "key demographic." I'm 23 and I think it's a load of horsepoo. Besides, if what I purchased was truly indicative of what I saw on TV, there'd be a hell of a lot more anime on the tube.

Hey, I hate Neal Tiles too - we need to oust him and replace him with a CEO who doesn't suck, like one of us (I'm sure)! Then we can make the G4 line-up the way it ought to be - with only tech and gaming shows (and Ninja Warrior and Unbeatable Banzuke, of course).
