So I guess people are pissed about my dislike of Nagano. Let me explain. We all had this image of this happy-go-lucky person who believed it was about everyone vs the course and he totally blew that image in 24. For one, the Jumping Spider? Are you kidding me? How do you possibly fail that? That's arrogance, trying to speed through obstacles. (see: Levi Meeuwenberg) And then he's all ticked off about it. Uhh, isn't Nagano supposed to be all giddy when he fails? What happened to THAT Nagano? So then Takeda fails Stage 3 and Nagano BURSTS INTO TEARS. Wow. Way to celebrate five people in the Final Stage. That just shows he only cares about the All-Stars. So then Yuuji achieves kanzenseiha and Nagano cheers and is like "Did he beat my time? aw man." WOW. JUST. WOW. And then he just sits there and is an a** when Yuuji bows before the All-Stars (uh, hello? Totally an All-Star. How do you call someone who dedicates their life to SASUKE and achieves kanzenseiha NOT an All-Star?). And does he go celebrate with everyone when they throw Yuuji up? Nope. Minus respect for Nagano. If he can prove that he really is this Nagano and he was just in a pissy mood on December 12, 2009, I will forgive him, but until then, no dice.

He was smiling in his interview.. And he failed focusing on going fast because everyone he knows to be good timed out. And he cried because his friend who he's known for years before these other finalists (besides kenji) started competing has failed the third stage for the 13th time out of 13 attempts.. Hell.. people here who never met takeda were sad about his failure..

First off, do we even know he said that? and as an athelete i root for everyone and so does nagano. But say in my sport, basketball, i score 30points and that holds thruout, then my teammate puts up 38 in a game (yeah, this happened before) i'd be like, "awwe damn, he beat my high score!" but i'd still be very happy for him.

As mentioned:
He smiled after pouting knowing his mistake, which I'm sure he was surprised he reacted like that.
His JS failure proves not even he is immune to every obstacle, we all thought Takeda was immune to trampoline obstacles after his Jump Hang fail and looked what happened in 22.
What I find funny is this immense hate for Levi, the one time he failed Stage 1 it was a new obstacle, plus if speed = arrogance, just about everyone is cocky sans people who just barely cleared.
Last time I checked, people can cry for friends' hassles, considering Takeda's track record there was not a person who wasn't sad for him, Nagano showed his, like that's such a shame.
I also didn't see any disappoint nor did I see him being an "a**" towards Yuuji, hell he was the only All-Star to show emotion. And it's been explained about the All-Star process. Also, his group going to cheer him is the same as 17 when the All-Star did the same act throwing him in the air.
People get along here, it's when you start becoming full of yourself with ludicrous ideas when drama starts. I also wish this not be deleted because it's pretty likely he'll come back, as he'll try to start anew then be back to the same old, same old.
