That's Ryo Matachi. And I agree, I want to see UNCLI's do good. Ryo and Tomino Keita (n.4) especially.

In order I have them Ryo (2), Keita (4) and a tie between Yamamoto (5) and Matsuda (1) simply because I haven't seen them that much recently though Yamamoto seems to be kicking some butt to bring Keita out of his funk and pwning both Ryo and Keita in Muscle Park.. LOL

I wish the Shinji Kobayashi would do a little better.
He showed to have amazing strength in Sasuke 14, making it farther than anyone else.
But Shin Sasuke has destroyed him. He hasn't cleared since 16.

Shin literally means "new". But in reference to sasuke, we generally use it to describe the era after Nagano's victory.
I.E. starting with tournament 18.

I wished that Takeda will get past the 3rd stage... And onward the 4th stage.. Cuz I hoped that he can be the 4th competitor to clear all 4 stages.. =)

He tries very hard and the way you phrase it makes it sound like he doesn't try.

I dunno...the man is in hella good shape for his age, but he's still 44 years old. Good shape or not, no one has ever passed the first stage at that age, not even way back when it was relatively easy. Of course, there is Okuyama, but he's still 4 years younger. On-topic, Kenjiro Ishimaru. Damn it, if any 50 plusser can do it, it's him. Especially now that the Jumping Spider is gone.

Mental problem there. Had he gotten up, I have no doubt he would have cleared.

Kenjiro Ishimaru, heart sinks further and further everytime he fails the beginning of the stages, considering how far he got in 21. The only things he would probably worry about would be the Bridge Jump or the Circle Slider, everything else he's easily beaten

I really wish Jordan Jovtchev did better, I felt bad for him because of his warped wall luck in his last few attempts, because sadly, if he just got over that wall he could have easily gotten himself into stage 3 in almost every attempt.
