what do you mean Code Geass? Did it end or did they just cancel the dub? And again, SASUKE ISN'T ENDING NOW! I was making a "WHAT IF?" situation becuase ratings are slipping, Sasuke Mania ended and theres been no official word on Kunoichi 8.

Sasuke is getting more and more fans in United States, as far as I know of right now.
Since it is going international WHILE it is happening, I don't think Monster 9/TBS would disappoint us for few more years.
In fact, I don't think streams would affect the ratings that Sasuke got. If the streams counted, then it might've rose a lot.

All streams count as 1 view, the guy watching it to stream it.
And good point about international ratings, all those countries buying footage.

Think Julio Iglesias and Willie Nelson If Sasuke were to end, tomorrow I would definitely hate, to see it go Never see Comedians obvious fate All-Stars pass through the gate Then my soul would be filled, with sorrowTo all the contestants that have run, the course We've loved watching, whether mule or horse We really wish we'd been there To give you lots of cheer You've been an inspirational sourceEven when the logs were a rolling Or someone tried to cross the Body Prop We see them start a falling And cry out as they'd do a belly flopTo Bunpei, Yamada, and Shingo To Akiyama, Takeda, and Nagano From Sasuke, Mania and Kunoichi We'll miss ya most definitely You'll always be our favorite oversea heroesAnd if you really want to get a kick out of this, just think of your favorite 2 Contestants singing it ;D

Someone also mentioned the idea of people like us creating one, continueing Sasuke in America would be a great thing, I hate to be a pessimist, but we all live in different parts of the country and a good number of us are under the ages of 18-completely independent and 22-independent and working, So I would love that idea, but just so unlikely. Really I think some of us saw this coming, before i joined the forum I had thoughts about this, and now the confirmations are starting to slowly poor in. I didn't know my name was Someone. Anyways. Like I said, someday so our generation will be all over 18 (Sasuke should at least last that long so theres time before our own Sasuke has to be made). But like I said, We all pitch in, it may not seem like too hefty of a fee or task but if we all put our resources together we can create the course (Granted the Final Stage cannot be the massive tower it has been, maybe we could try something like a closer to the ground version of Final Viking (That was a tough final stage, with 100 seconds Nagano still failed it)), at a place that works for all of us, have it a space inbetween us or rotate locations from where each of us lives or something), then once its all set up we promote it have our group of competitors, those who helped can still participate, those who can't or don't want to actually try the course do behind the scenes work (Like naration or working mechanical stuff like turning off the gates when time runs out, making sure the clocks, buzzers and the buttons work) and those who want to try the course (*waves*) can try it. But I wouldn't start doing that until a while after Sasuke ends (and lets hope that never happens). I hope to compete in Sasuke and if I never get the oportunity, I hope to be a part of Neo Sasuke (I'm sure we'll think of a better name if we have to)

MAJOR LOL & props to madmanike. That was great.
But, um, I realized I haven't written my thoughts about this yet. 'Course I'd be sad when Sasuke ends, but I accept it as a part of life and move on. When Sasuke ends, I'd still watch previous tournaments, and that's interesting for me. And yeah, as supernovamaniac pointed out, TBS/Monster9 knows that they're getting more fans from around the world. It's not just the US, Taiwan, UK anymore, but in Greece, New Zealand, and Italy as well, so...

Haha good one Yojimbo, but davidyko is right Sasuke is gaining popularity from around the world, so even when it ends, it's probably got a good shot at continueing some where in the world

Do you guys think sasuke will last long enough for us to see a next generation all-stars beacause i think that would be interesting.

I doubt it. I think it will end before the younger All Stars (Yamamoto, Takeda) decide to stop competing. Even so, I don't think they would (or should) ever change the All Stars.

Well, i fugured id add my 2 pennies into this
Itll be a very sad day when SASUKE comes to an end. But bada i think, said tht we all ahve dreams of going on there, and building our own... and we all live in dif parts of he country so we cant... BS!
we got the internet and i kno a guy who can design things, and we;ve all drawn sasuke obstacles, i remember tht from the G4 boards. so simplily if sasuke ends in the near future (2-10 yrs) we culd prob though out $$ together for a decent televised relica and maybe itll ctach on maybe it wont
but itll be sad when it goes

Even if it doesn't catch on we'd still keep trying just to keep Sasuke alive in some form, Besides that it'd suck to pay all that for a course and it never be used.

we bring in competitors and it'd prob catch on, look at how all the knock offs r doin!
wipeout seems 2 be doin well and hole in the wall. Ninja Warrior and Banzuke while technicly arent knockoffs but there not the real deal. not to mention everyone loves opstacle courses. So we find sum middle ground between all of us involved so not be claiming more then others...
We either take out a loan from the bank or through our own money in it, pitch it 2 a station like... ESPN or NBC or someone who will wont take it as a joke and have it as an american gladiator. also we gotta make sure its liek Sasuke and dosnt suck.
maybe sum knock off obstacles to make it harder like a jump hanger instead of the cliff hanger. or instead of Viking peg board the drop hold.

Jump Hanger? You mean like the Shin Cliffhanger? But I was thinking making it based on the course, then when someone acheives Kanzen-Seiha (I.E. winning), redesign the course completely then we can pitch it to a network without being sued for copyright infringement, I mean theres no law against having an obstacle course set up with the same rules. Although theres no way we could make a 75 foot tower to make the Final Stage, but what I was thinking was make a long outwards one then have a short rope climb, Like a long set of Monkey Bars then with no rest have the same kind of course Final Viking had (Horizontal Rope Climb, somewhat short upwards Rope Climb)

Not necessarily, if we had like one week of the year where we all got together, then we could build a 75 foot final stage, you know what, screw 75 feet, I say 100 ft(i know im being unrealistic) if nothing else we could chip in money and hire professionals.

Post by RiderLeangle on Oct 4, 2008 22:44:21 GMT -5
Oh, Professionals, that sounds like a much better idea. The real question, what will we do if we do decide to make all new obstacles anyways?
But another idea I thought of would be trying to keep all kinds of Japanese words in their original form, if you talk about winning the show, Kanzen-Seiha, the obstacle between the Halfpipe Attack and the Flying Chute is the Soritatsu Kabe, Ect...

It's gonna be a dark day for me when it's actually canceled. BTW, they're still showing Code Geass, just at a MUCH later time of 5am EST/4am CST.

TBS is ALWAYS hinting at a next generation of all-stars, to say they won't be getting new ones at some point is silly, they always look for new younger talent, ALWAYS.
Shinsuke Nagasaki, Takamasa, 8 Sasuke 21 trail qualifiers.
