One of the best tricks I ever read was regarding hand placement. If you grip the bar like you normally would for a pull-up, then you have a good three inches extra you have to pull up before you can get your elbows around. But, if you gooseneck your wrists and try to hold onto the bar by the base of your palms (close to your wrists), then your hands are already in position to do the pushing movement at the end. I worked so hard to get my muscle up but to no avail. Then the moment I tried this trick I got it the first time. It's a little uncomfortable at first, but you'll get the hang of it and you'll get those muscle-ups too.

Thats just giving me akward pullups, how do I get my arms into the upwards posistion to do so?
