honestly, I can see it being harder than 23, since only 6 people failed it that we know of. However, it won't be as hard as 22, since only 10 people passed it.

If you look at my calculations, the only thing that was actually changed was the angle and the tightness of the net.
I think the only X amount failed it in 23 and only Y amount failed it in 22 is a bad argument. There was a lot of different people attempting it in each tournament, and we have no idea how many it took out in 23.

Flying Chute was removed for safety reasons, not difficulty reasons,

Notice that there wasn't a period at the end of that post. I'd really like it if you would care to explain why you think it was for safety reasons.

You also got to consider there probably were alot of Slider Jump fails we DIDN'T See.. You have to consider 16 people to stage 2, 7 of them to stage 3 and with the exception of Shingo and Levi they got far into the stage and 2 people made it to the final. You have to be someone important to be shown failing the slider jump/timing out because those take long into the broadcast, hell, geoff should be lucky he got shown being a soritatsu kabe fail in a broadcast like this.

I know, but still, you get what I'm trying to say, he should be lucky he was shown even in digest when no other Soritatsu Kabe fails were shown even in fast forward. And also Rick, Shane, Joop and Caine should be lucky they got shown too because they were shown even in FF. If they were all from Japan do you think all of them would have been shown? I mean we know Travis and Paul didn't even get fast forwarded

Honestly it's hard to understand how TBS decides these things. Some non-names can get shown while others who have had a history (cough Nagasawa cough) can get cut even if they got all the way to the end but not touch the buzzer.. Heck.. sometimes it's a sport trying to figure out who they are going to show! LOL (Getting shades of that K-1 guy that spent 3 days primping for Sasuke 23 only to get cut entirely)

It's all about TBS' pacing. Especially for 23, they didn't spend much time in the First Stage and they focused on the entertainers and whatnot, for ratings sake. People like Nagasawa and Shinji are good competitors, but they never get shown because they will not bring in much of an audience. If they clear, or if they are the first that day to make a certain way into the course, then yes, they get shown. However, TBS usually cuts everybody in the 60s to make time for the people with the latter numbers.

I suspect the Slider Jump distance will be adjusted somewhat akin to how the Jumping Spider was adjusted from 18 to 19 to 20.
I'd say they're still figuring out where to put the net to get the results they want.
