So? Now you have even more incentive to do it. Go.

He's right you know. You can't just be depressed and focus on how good you COULD be right now if you didn't get injured. You just have to get back to it and if that means rehab and therapy for whatever you injured, do it. I'm injured too, but I'm going to be better than I ever was in no time.

Oh, I'm not depressed at all. Seriously! I don't really have any incentive to get to where I was. I guess what I mean is that I wish I could get back to how I was without doing the work. I do think I could do a little bit to work on upper body strength, but I'm fine with my fitness level as of now.

He does them so fast the first ones don't even look like muscle ups, more like... super pull ups.

That seems like super cheating. It's impressive, but not true muscle-ups.

The leg movement is slightly cheat-ish I guess, but I still think that's incredible.

It's neat that he has that amount of explosiveness, but it's not a very strict muscle-up.
If that's what you wanna call it.

I've found somewhere I can practice the part of the Muscle-Up above the bar (without the pull-up bit). It's basically a the side of the desk in my room at school from the bottom of the stairs in my room at school. My hands are at about chin level when I start, and I can lift myself to outstretched arms from there, so now I just need to wait until I'm home and go to a bar to practice on ^_^

A muscle-up without the pull is a dip. Is that what you mean?

It's kind of like a dip, except the surface I'm using is higher than anything I'd use for dips. As in, it's closer to my eye level than my waist level. So I'd say it's more like the second half of a muscle up than a dip due to the height? I'm not sure...

Maybe you're doing your dips wrong? lol
It's still a dip.

If you start on top of the bar and press up, that's a dip regardless of the height of the bar.
Are you doing a dip?

It's not a bar, but by that description, yes, yes I am. ^_^ And multiple of them. Now I just need to get to the nearest bar, and combine pull up with dip... now where's the nearest bar?

I imagine you could still practice on the surface you're using, it'll just be a little trickier.

But it's basically just a wall. So I couldn't really pull up it, since I'd be scraping my face up it

There are ways to do it, but alright. You can't.

Found some bars to hang off in town today. Shame they were underneath scaffolding, or I would have attempted. Still, they were really fun to traverse. Good training too ^_^
