Wow.
I still eat cookies, ice cream, my dinner a few nights ago was just chips >_>
But I never gain weight, no matter how much I eat... and I work out, and I still (At least I think) have plenty of energy.
I'm not recommending you have a diet like mine, but I think a gummy worm here or there is fine.

But certain nights (like tonight) our schedules don't allow us to eat together. I had 2 mini pizzas and 3 cookies for dinner tonight... not quite the definition of healthy.

Yeah, I have my lapses in healthy eating too. Today I just pigged out on cookies, and didn't eat dinner =S Perhaps not the best idea, but it's my day off training, so I guess I can let it slide

If you're going to not stick to your healthy lifestyle, could you at least not try to rationalize it? That REALLY annoys me.

Okay. Sorry. I shall punish myself, henceforth, with no mercy, every time I don't follow my healthy eating guidelines, and for every day that I don't do my reps. Oh, by the way, the same amount of reps seems to be getting harder, and my muscles seem to be getting weaker, even though I'm doing no less training than I did before. Should I be giving myself a few days break, or is there something up?

Everytime you eat a gummy worm, punch yourself.
That should teach you a lesson.

I was just saying that if you cheat on your food or something, just accept it and let it go. Don't try to justify it by saying it's a "cheat day", or something. That's all I meant.
You should give yourself at least a day's rest between workouts involving similar muscles.
Rest those muscles for two or so days and then try.

Okay, will do. To be fair. I've been doing workouts of some description every day for the past week or so, so I think it's probably more healthy for me to take a break. After wearing out my muscles for a week, I think they probably do need a while to actually rebuild lol
