Well, the current All-Stars are far from done, but I think it's time to start thinking about the next generation of Sasuke All-stars. WHAT I MEAN IS.......competitors who have a legitimate shot at doing well on the course and getting to the 3rd or even final stage. Who would be included in that group?
All I can think of right now is Shunsuke Nagasaki and maybe his brother (provided they return) and Daisuke Miyazaki. Maybe Tomohiro, but not sure if he'll compete again or not. Levi and Brian O could be included if TBS doesn't care about foreigners in this 'club.' What do you guys think?

Guys, to be a future all-star you've got to be young... Koji won't be a future all-star, they are looking for new young talent like the Nagasaki brothers. If you're already in your late 30's it won't happen.
Miyzaki won't be an official all-star, because he's a celebrity, he may become a regular competitor but not an all-star.
if Takuya Kawahara continues competing, well I have faith in him.
Kota Honma if he ever comes back.
Levi could become the first and only american all-star.

I don't feel like Kota Honma's done so well, though. He's timed up on Rope Ladder twice, failed Jump Hang once, Pole Maze once, and made it to the 2nd stage to fail the Spider Walk once.
If you compare that to Shunsuke's record...

Kota honma is a lot younger than Shunsuke...
Not fair to compare them.

Kota is 17 now, and Shunsuke is 21. I see your point, but I think his record so far hardly warrants a spot in the new All-Stars.

Nakata(Always dose good but can't seem to beat the globe grasp in the old days, now he can't beat any obsticle that includes upper body strenth) Iketani(well he's good=p) Levi(he is a legend!) Shinji(Made it to the 3rd stage 3 times in a row) Kenji(Made it to shin cliffhanger with two others and dose good)

If by Shinji, you mean Shinji Kobayashi, then no, he hasn't made it to the 3rd Stage 3 times in a row. In fact, he hasn't made the 3rd Stage 3 times. The only times he has was Sasuke 11 and 14.

If they are in their 30's they hav eno chance at being all-stars...
TBS won't choose anymore until the ones they currently have stop competing or start getting incredibly old.
So people who are 30 right now will be old by the time they start picking new all-stars, meaning they'll start doing worse because of age, and will stop competing, plus since they're old they won't be in many tournaments after that, TBS wants long running all-stars, they arn't going to choose some 40 year old even if he does amazing.
The only exception I see is if said 40 year old beat the entire course or consistantly made the final stage.
You have to choose young competitors.

Remember that the All-Stars are primarily regular guys "done good" and are well-known because of SASUKE. Someone already famous wouldn't be able to make the commitment to the show and the events outside of the show that the All-Stars do.
Miyazaki would be out because he is Mr. Handball. He'll probably keep doing stuff for Monster 9 because it benefits both parties - handball is still a growing sport in Japan. He'll most likely make a go for an unprecedented 3rd Pro Sportsman No. 1 title later this year. But if push comes to shove, handball is his thing.
And the same really will go for Shunsuke if he keeps his trampoline career going. Daisuke Nakata started doing SASUKE before the trampoline became an Olympic event so the demands on his time probably were different from Shunsuke's.

Well im not sure many people know that tramplining is really a olympic and world sport, not sumthin u spend $200 on to get ur kids outside.
so i think shinsuke is still up for it, plus, he hasnt been in the olympics yet

I don't know whether you've completely missed Ube's point, or I'm just misreading your post. Ube's point is that Shunsuke will NOT be an all-star...and you say he's still up for it? Maybe I'm dyslexic, but I'm confused.

I think you miss the point entirely since you are enamoured with him being All-Star though he has shown no interest in it.

Well when i say "up 4 it" i didnt mean that he wanted to, i ment he still culd be
But anyway, i may have missed the point, i not have
what im getting from it is that you cant be a celeb to be an allstar.
I dont rly thin Shinsuke could be considered a celeb becuz he really hasnt been in an olympics yet and not a ton of people know about trampoline juming as a major sport

all-stars do schools visits and interviews, but even with the language barrier, I think that Levi could be a all-star.

I could care less if TBS chooses their All-stars or not. WhatI really meant by this post was which competitors have the best chance of getting to the final stage and competing on a regular basis? If the Nagasaski bros. aren't and Miyazaki isn't committed, then I see very few guys who fit the bill right now. Perhaps TBS will end the show in a few years when they thinl the current all-stars are ready to call it a day. I hate to say it but the next all-stars may all be from the U.S. LOL

Then you need to rename the thread to something else. Just that we've had this conversation in the G4 boards like once a month for the past year. It gets old. TBS has already shown what they consider an All-Star and if you keep mentioning that TBS should be doing something and then yell at us for correcting you there's not a whole lot either of us can do to make sense of your thought pattern.
