Just figured I'd post a list of the music I listen to when I train. I'd ask others of you put up not just what you have, but your personal cream of the crop. I highlighted mine.
I'm also "Publishing" my list on iTunes so you can listen to samples of them, but if you don't want to do that, put up YouTube links.
(I separated them by band, so I can categorize them by album. They're still all under the same playlist.)
-------------------------------- 10 Years
Drug of Choice - Division Riptide - Into the Half Moon R.E.S.T. - Killing All That Holds You At A Loss - Killing All That Holds You Paralyzing Kings - The Autumn Effect
Appleseed Original Soundtrack
Good Luck] - Basement Jaxx Burns Attack - Oakenfold
Breaking Benjamin
You Fight Me - Phobia Simple Design - We Are Not Alone Break My Fall - We Are Not Alone Dance With The Devil - Phobia Breakdown - We Are Not Alone Wish I May - Saturate Had Enough - Phobia Follow - We Are Not Alone
Metallica - Death Magnetic

I don't have any specific songs really (except AllStars' themes lol) but most relatively pacey rock music, or occasionally some sort of heavy electronic track, will get me going really well ^_^ I may get back to you with some songs I think are particularly good.

Don't worry, Arsenette. I'm 20 and I don't know a majority of that stuff. I only recognized like three bands.
Needs more Foo Fighters. If you like Everlong, I'd recommend Generator and, as always, All my Life is good stuff.
I don't listen to specific music when I train. If I'm at the gym, it's whatever's in the CD player. At home, whatever plays on my playlist out of the 676 songs I have on said playlist. Outside = whatever's on the radio.

Yea, Metallica! That's a band I listen to quite often. I have every single cd by them including Death Magnetic which I listen to alot. The only time I really listen to music when I train though is when I'm running, because conveniently there's an old boombox near my treadmill haha. And I'm too cheap to pay for any sort of device to support my ipod or cd player while I'm training .

All you need to do is listen to the Rocky theme on repeat.

I listen to my ipod during all of my training (except recently because my headphones broke and I can't afford new one's). I just listen to a playlist of my fav songs and let that hit whatever. I do have a "Ninja Pumped" playlist that I was going to listen to before my run at ANW, but that didn't end happening. It has:
Eye of the Tiger Dyers Eve - Metallica Zero to Hero - Hercules Mighty Ducks Theme Superman Theme

Needs more Foo Fighters. If you like Everlong, I'd recommend Generator and, as always, All my Life is good stuff. I have the entire Foo Fighters collection. One of my favorite bands. However, the mass majority of their music just didn't cut it for me, training wise. I like music that keeps my heart rate blazing, and usually have a fast beat, or lyrics that get me pissed off (It really helps.) Not that I'm a pissed off person in life, I 90% of the time have a smile on my face, but angry music (Other than emo/screamo) is a lot of fun to me. 10 Years and Breaking Benjamin are two of my other top favorites... I'd love to hear them live, but I just can't. 10 Years isn't popular enough, and I never seem to hear BB reaching at closest Denver. ANYWAY... Eye of the tiger always irritates me. Him saying the same lyrics, in the same voice, multiple times at the end always makes me want to just throw the music source or change songs... instantly. But that's the only part of the song I don't like. Brian: Loving the music selection though! It's as epic as David Campbell's Occasionally, I like putting in Nagano's Theme and the Sasuke Theme song, but lately I just felt like taking those out, and going for more pure rock. Minus the techno. I'm almost ready to take those out, although they're more favorites of mine.

Chris, I'm surprised you don't have this song on your list, you liked it so much in LA (it is a good song, love the band but wasn't sure if it was them when we were down there): They also have songs on Guitar Hero world tour, and I got introduced to them on Need for Speed: Underground, lol. A friend of mine just saw Shinedown, Adelitas Way, and Sick Puppies in SF. She said Adelitas was better but that Sick Puppies were good too. Shinedown was better than both of course

My fav's out of those are Mighty Ducks theme and Zero to Hero!
