I'm curious to see if they'll change it for 24 making it harder again? I honestly think it's more appropriate for stage1 in it's current form, but I'm kinda pissed that I had the hard version and all the new guys this time had it easy! Those whippersnappers! Why back in your day......er, nevermind ;D

Honestly, lets go who failed there and if they would have passed: Haga and Terek? Probably. Doubt it. They both reached the net just fine, but missed the grip entirely. Most people in 22 did controlled jumps, whereas the people who went for it really fast reached the net but couldn't hold on. In 23, most people went for it really fast, and were able to hold on.

there is a difference between barely getting your fingertips on the net and really getting a good bite of rope you can hang on to. I think most of the people who fell in 22 would have cleared it if it was the current version. There were some people that TOTALLY effed up the slide and the dismount this time only to practically let go and fall into the net it seemed like.
I heard Shane Daniels actually jumped and landed ON THE BAR not even having to grab the net! (I guess he listened to my advice about jumping up and not out!?) Props to Shane for that one!

I think this is the harder obstacles in Stage 1 along with Jumping Spider and the new 12 steps.

Ok just an update: Levi called me yesterday asking for measurements for the first gap of the cliffhanger as he's adding it to his current replica for obvious reasons. Anyway, while we were talking he mentioned that they made the gap a lot smaller for the Slider Jump and that it was really easy now. So there you have it!

Yep, he had told me the same thing the day he arrived back in the States. Was really exciting to hear about it, and really wanted to see it in Sasuke, but I guarantee we'll see on Ninja Warrior. I strongly suspect they will move it back for 24 IMO I hope they do!

Depends, what were they trying to accomplish when they created the obsatcle? We dont know that... only the producers know that... Was 22 or 23 the fail? We'll find out the answers to both of those most likely when we see 24
