I just cleaned off my Video Camera's memory stick, so I figured I'd put up some non-spoiler pictures and a video from the trip. Sorry I didn't do it sooner
----------------------------------------------------
Brian and Ryan had their runs on Saturday morning, and Ryan at least, was getting quite nervous about his run. Brian didn't really show it too much, but said he was pretty nervous himself. So, in the morning of the ride, I played Nagano's Theme as well as the intro song to Sasuke on the car ride there. Ryan got pumped instantly... and even listened to it again right before his run. Nonetheless, the car ride there was hilarious!
The sun started out blood red each morning due to all the smoke from the fire. Each day we kinda wondered how it would affect the show and the contestants, but it ended up not being a factor whatsoever.
We made multiple stops to Target while there, and they have the coolest thing: Escalators made specifically for their Shopping Carts. They travel at the same speed as the people walking! Also, 2 of the four wheels have sensors, so when they get too far away from the store, they lock up and can't go any further Rich people get all the cool stuff...
The 'Ninja' signs were skillfully hidden around town. It took us hours to find the hundreds of signs they hid in plain daylight around town. We would have never spotted them if we weren't so Ninja ourselves.
Quite a few of us hit up the nearby subway-esque chain that was across the street from the competition, so it was always packed and got some great food there. Also, Patrick (WarriorElite, frickin awesome guy who I'm proud to be friends with) and I hit up the nearby Panda Express, so pretty decent food there. However, we as a small portion of the large group got the picture taken at this sign, at my request. Decent picture, except the guy who doesn't know how to use technology.
On Sunday night, David and Travis brought Brian, Ryan and myself, as we invited Brett Sims and his brother, to Buca de Beppo. We (or at least I) didn't know that we'd be meeting up with the other guys, but after it was all over, I personally was quite glad David/Travis brought us, because some (No name-spoilers here!) of us definitely felt like crawling into our shells and grumbling all night. It definitely helped some of us appreciate the trip more, and I am thankful big-time for it.
The nice thing about this picture, is that others are adding names to the faces I didn't have on Facebook.
The back end of the table is where we sat, and the picture didn't show us too well, so I had the waiter snap another picture for us.
Brian got to meet up with a cage fighter he admired (Or if I remembered correctly), but nonetheless, he was pretty pleased to see him.
Ryan's hands after he ran the course. Not gonna spoil how he did though.
