If there were to be a radical change (like we saw with the Circle Hammer/Slider Jump last tournament) what do you think it would be?
My guess is that they'll rearrange some of the obstacles in Stage 1.
Sextuple Step - Log Grip - Circle Hammer - Jumping Spider - Slider Jump - Halfpipe Attack - Warped Wall - Rope Ladder

That's a radical change? Please.
They're not going to rearrange it.
I'm hoping they include some new things.

I think the only change that might happen is to replace the circle hammer with a new obstacle.

They don't need to change anything. The first stage is way too hard as it stands now.
They need to focus on the second stage mainly.

They won't change the 1st stage. Stage 2 will be modified and perhaps something to the 3rd stage. Expect a much tougher stage 2.

There's really nothing wrong with the second stage (although almost everyone here has a problem with the swing ladder), it's just the time limit is too lenient, 70-65 seconds would make the stage harder as you have to go faster which can make people slip up. Any lower than 65 (which is cutting it close) and the course is impossible unless you take out an obstacle.

I still like my second stage idea. This or this (Thanks to everyone for the suggestions in the other thread to get rid of the slider.) Since 18, Stage 2 usually just gets one obstacle changed or none (except 18 with the Shoulder Walk), so I just wanna see it a bit more challenging but not so much that it's an entirely new stage. Plus I miss the Flying Chute.

The only changes will be in stage 2 and possibly the arm rings in 3 everything else will remain the same.

I think a drop to 60 seconds would be fair, because even the "slowest" in stage 2 finished a second or two over 60 seconds.
Also, we witnessed some of the worst Wall Lift attempts in a long time, so you have to account for that as well.

If I were to drop times, I'd put last year's stage 1 down to 110 and Stage 2 to 65.

If the first stage 110 seconds we would of had 100 fails in 22. If anything more time should be given for the first stage

i think the time for the first stage will either be 120 seconds or 115 seconds.
and the time for stage 2 will be 75

Add 5 seconds and we'd have 10 clears, which is what Higuchi says he wants, so I certainly can't see them changeing the time down, but i could see them making 125 or making something not take as long

Timing out was not the issue and the Slider Jump will be less a**. Looking at 22 and the people that were shown, 110 seconds would eliminate most people. It takes (at best) 20 seconds from the start of the Slider Jump to jumping off the platform at the Tarzan Rope (Urushihara did this). At best, it takes 13 seconds to scale the Rope Ladder and touch the button (see Koji Yamada, Sasuke 19). So with a 120 second time limit, someone can clear (in theory) with only 33 seconds left. With a 110 second time limit, only Lee Enchi, Levi, and Nagano would have a shot at clearing, and going at their pace in 22, no one would clear. In reality, if you have 40 seconds left when you start the Slider Jump, you have a shot at clearing, but it all depends on how fast you clear the Slider Jump.

with levi going at his pace, i think he would have set a new record... big surprise? No.
So it just seems like, 110 or 115 time limit would work. we'd have atleast 1 or 2 clears. Plus with americans fat wave of free runners +travis and david we should ahve 5-7 clears

The 1st stage in 23 is like this: - -Log Grip-Jumping Spider-Halfpipe Attack-Warped Wall-Slider Jump- - well, we know that the 1st obstacle is some kind of log jump/hop and the 2nd obstacle seems to be some version of the Circle Slider. I would doubt the rest changed though.

to me from what I know the course is so far.......
New log steps, new ostacle replacing the CH , log grip, jumping spider, halfpipe attack, warped wall, slider jump , tarzan rope and ladder.
st2 DH JUMP, SALMON LADDER , STICK SLIDER, NEW OBSTACLE , METAL SPIN, WALL LIFT
sT3 ive not seen a single picture or clip of but I think its a fair guess its the same - itshard enough only one mans ever beat it so it will stay the same for this one anyway,
final - heavenly ladder and G rope - as expected final stays same till beat and confirmed its the same in the trailer.

YEah, it seems to be this way but I'd be a little surprised if there were no changes made to the 3rd stage. Yuuji breezed through stage 3 and I'm sure that Nagano and a few others could too if the Final Ring stays the same.
