I understand why they made it easier. SASUKE 19, while great for its drama and all that, is also terrible for attracting viewers. Constant failure gets really boring for the average viewer, and most of those viewers (which determine whether SASUKE stays on air) would turn it off. On the flip side, look at 22. Great results and great ratings.
I'm not saying make it easy or keep it easy so someone wins next tournament, or in a few tournaments. But make it so that the course is just a step ahead of the competitors, but not so hard so that everyone gets their a** kicked.

Great results would only generate extra ratings nearer the end of the broadcast. I imagine the majority of the increase was due to 21's results, and other factors including the day and what it was up against.
