I agree, just not to the extent you believe.
EDIT!
Just got back from the gym. Chinned with 90 lbs again, then 100 lbs. Go me!
I hit a small sticking point halfway up, but a few little kicks got me through it. Hopefully I'll be able to use strict form next time.

Hey Oti, since you seem to have an opinion about everything and are into some fringe type things, you know any magic way to heal an ankle what was sprained over 4 months ago and isn't healing?

Not magic, no.

if you use it, it will only get worse...If you aren't using it, go to the doctor.

Well for records, let's see if nayone can beat my 2 mile time. No, I don't have a video because I got this time during soccer camp. 12:00 (12 minutes flat) Not TOO impressive but it could be a good placeholder for awhile. I've never broken 12 minutes sadly, I was kinda pissed when i got that time, 1 second faster and I would've made it. There are kids in my school who can run a 10:20 though, makes me feel SLOOOW.

Give Rider a few months. Then he'll magically "improve" and post a better time. I ran my first 8 minute mile last night. I'm fast as hell, but I burn out quickly, so... gotta set a pace. TRAINING! If I could hold out, though, I could easily run a 5 minute mile. 12 mph ain't got nothin' on me.

So you mean I shouldn't run the Ninja Killer twice the same day I sprain it, or film a new video where I do wall runs and jump over a cop car or practice the spider jump repeatedly, or go try out for Sasuke 23 in LA? Ehh common sence is over-rated

If you're 1 mile time is above the 80 minute mark you should probably try to improve it.
Granted not every athelete needs to be a good runner, but I was running it around 7:00 minutes in 7th grade.
I havn't improved TOO much sicne then, I can get a 5:40 1 mile.
I guess you can consider that good, but my school has some of the top runners in the state, and it's almost a given that we'll be going to nationals this year and maybe even getting top 10.
So if I compare myself to those guys, it makes my time look terrible. I know a freshman who is on JV (Not even Varsity) who can run a mile in under 5 minutes. So if he's on JV I can't even imagine our varsity runners...

I hate running and I have no reason to do it other than to help with fighting. My cardio hurts me in long rounds.

Just saying anything above 8 is a pretty slow time for someone who is pretty fit atleast. The out of shape kids in my class were getting around the 9 minute mark.

I'm not saying this is a proven fact or anything or if I'm right for that matter, but it seems younger kids who are in middle to high school seem to have more stamina and can easily improve their running time greatly. Of course if you stop, you lose that speed and it's a lot harder to get it back. *sighs as he points to himself*

Only thing I can think of in that regard is little kids aren't as out of shape as adults.

Helllooo!!! I got 550 x 3 on rack pulls today ( knee level ) For those that dont know what that is.. It is used to work the top portion of a deadlift. Works your back a lot! Also attempted BW+115 Pull-up (palms facing away) Didnt quite get it, got it about 3/4 of the way up and couldnt quite get my chin above the bar. None the less very close so hopefully I will get it soon!

Something that works your back? =o I'd like to do that... get some back muscles.
For the army... well... not all of the people in the army are in shape. I've seen so many fat/chubby army members, I mean... you don't have to be in top psyhical condition. (Even though it IS the army) I think they're just content with having as many marines as possible.
And even if they're not out of shape, maybe they just have bad endurance. I have a lot of friends who claim to be in shape, they are those body building types who like to play football, wrestling, etc... and their times on the miles are always like 10 minutes.
I'm just saying it's not very hard to improve your time with a little practice. Having a time above 8 minutes is pretty bad, having a time higher than 10 minutes is pretty inexcusable.
I had a mentally handicapped person in my class finish it under 12, so... you get the idea.

Back exercises: Rows, deadlifts, hyper extensions.
Enjoy.

Yeah.. They can be fast runners... Unfortunately they're running the wrong way but that's not important
