So basically the message those are sending is "The water kills you, Kill it first!" and "The equipment hurts you, destroy it first!" or something?

Well apparently that's what they're saying instead of "don't play near rivers" or "there are no accidents",still it's pretty chilling for public announcements.

The stupidity of people scares me the most, I think. We have complete morons in seats of incredible power who own and are willing to use, if necessary, weapons that will kill others, maybe even all of us. Damn stupid... and it frightens me.
I'm not trying to get political or anything, so please, no one start a flame about this, but I like Obama. He SEEMS to have common sense. Nobody else has had plain ol' common sense since... Kennedy, maybe. I mean, real common sense. The ability to see a proposed law and say, "WTF is this sh*t?" And then slap the idiot who came up with it in the face with a newspaper.
Oh, and bunnies. I'm afraid of bunnies, too.

With all this serious talk about public service announcements and scare tactics, let's look at another side and look at funny interpretations of emergency signs. Don't know if this has been spread around all over the net but it's something I look through once in a while to have a laugh. It's a parody website. www.safenow.org/
