I can see how a lot of you have the possibility to build obstacle replicas and to train quite well for Sasuke. I would like to do it too, but I don't have a lot of money and a lot of space to practise. I always (obviously) search for cliff hangers, spider walks and (even if it's no longer an active obstacle) body props wich are easy to find in any town, but I'm need something else to do! Is there a way I can practise/build replicas without spending a lot of money (and, possibly, getting seriously hurt)? Can you give me any tips?

Use materials you can get for free. Scrap wood and metal, etc..
I've only paid $40 for all of my obstacles and that's only because I wanted to get fancy and put particle board on the insides of my Jumping Spider.
If you're tight on space, try to build obstacles into structures. My Cliff Hanger is on the back of my garage. My Halfpipe Attack leans against a tree. I used a tree branch for the Pole Maze. Be creative.
Also, try to build a lot of things into one. A Jumping Spider replica could also be a Jumping Bars, Salmon Ladder, Cliff Hanger, Globe Grasp and probably some other stuff that I don't feel like figuring out right now.
As for getting hurt, training is dangerous. Know your limits and take the necessary precautions. Padding, etc..

Hey! I know how you feel, having no space or money, but there are things you build for CHEAP.
My cliff-hanger was only 10$ total and I bought triple the wood I needed and a ton of extra screws.
If you need a place to build it try building off your deck if you have one.
Really you just need 3 pieces of wood and about 10 screws. Hands down easiest obstacle to build, in my opinion anyway.
I'd start off with that, then maybe a globe grasp since you can just use cheap baseballs for the grip, also not very costly.
Though it's not built yet, my globe grasp was also 10$ for the materials. Granted I had to get the baseballs from a friend, 15 baseballs isn't that much money, and I'm sure you could find some or also get them from a friend.

I screwed it the the outside of my work! (shhh!) O.o ummm... do i want to know...? but yeah, overall obstacles can be very cheap, esp. if their wood. So the cliffhanger is roughly 10. Globe grasp you can use tennis balls, baseballs, doll heads; any spherical object. salmon ladder, really you just need 2 pairs if regular notches then 1 pair for the big gap. log grip find a punching bag or a big cylinder jumping spider.... just no and yeah, it can be fairly cheap

Tennis balls don't work. They're hollow and they can't support much weight. I've tried. :/

How did you guys get the baseballs to work? Just screwing them to the top board? Would that support your weight?

If the screws are big and go far enough into the wood, it should be fine.
