Ooh, I'm so hyped to see Kong return! Also, wow, did some competitors take a number drop; Ryo, Shingo,Mori, and Kanno. KAREN, Minami and Shogo got a huge increase. KAREN actually hasn't ''increased''. Notice that her number 51 which means that she's kinda starting the second group of the stage 1, after the first half (50 competitors) have competed

I kinda understand how this all works (why some people got so huge increases and why some people dropped so hard). It’s some kind of tradition to see Hioki, Yamada-kuns and Seiki competing with low starting numbers because they have always competed with low starting numbers in previous competitions. This time their starting number is in 60’s which I think is better than in previous competitions. After 70 competitors have competed the show really begins. First compete the guys who have proven to be really great competitors in the previous competitions of Sasuke but were not good enough to pass the Stage 1 in last tournaments. Mori had his embarrassing fail last tournament, Kanno has also had very bad tournaments at SASUKE 32 & 33 failing the first stage + his injury after that, Ryo’s last time passing Stage 1 was in SASUKE 30 (which must tell us something) and Shingo has failed that freaking Double Pendulum THREE TIMES!!! (If he fails that pendulum fourth time in a row I’m gonna scream so hard my neighbours call police ) Competitors competing in 75-85 are military and sportsmen who have high numbers because of their athletic abilities. Usually almost all of them fail that first stage just because they just don’t have previous experience about SASUKE and they usually approach some tricky obstacles the wrong way. The last competitors competing in 86-100 are the guys who completed Stage 1 in last tournament (also Hioki, Yamada-kuns and Seiki passed Stage 1 but they have low numbers because it has become some kind of tradition). First comes ABC-Z (I thought his starting number would be in 90’s but I think they put him compete first so it would be some kind of ’’warm-up’’ for the show). Guys competing in 87-89 are the guys who completed the first stage for the first time in last tournament. And last guys competing in 90-100 I think I don’t even need to explain their high numbers.
