What if the log grip/silk slider/etc was moved to the first obstacle of stage 2? Be a good replacement for the old Pipe slider *Slider Drop

ekkerb11 how far did Flip make it before he got disqualified? I remember seeing pictures of him attempting the Butterfly Wall on the NBC site He was just about to start the Wedge when they told him Hold up, what happened? I never actually bothered to watch the 2nd STAGE or 3rd STAGE episodes, what happened to Flip?

I don't know about that but it sure reminds me of something... what is that from? American Gladiators. The picture is from the 2008 reboot.

Random thought...what would a conveyor belt warped wall be like?? As long as it was safe enough, that could really mess with people on an obstacle most overlook I don't know about that but it sure reminds me of something... Attachment Deleted

Keep in mind, he WAS a freerunner for a while, then currently he transitioned to a farmer. So adapting back to freerunning and obstacle training will not be easy for him. I'd say he would probably fail the 5th obstacle, qualify, fail the Salmon Ladder, then fail on the JS in Vegas.

I've been thinking about Snake Run. The angle of each step looks like they had some sort of plan in mind, but the way it's attempted makes it look like an ugly one-sided Piston Road. If it returns next year, make it longer to space out some of the steps. The obstacle would then be designed in a way that makes sense for all the competitors to hit all the steps. Something like this for example. It still looks like a mess, but it makes more sense for what they're trying to go for, unless they didn't know what they were trying to go for. Ah, the top picture looks like something that I would have expected from this obstacle.

Here's a little something I created for those who hate it that SASUKE's music is never used on Ninja Warrior. Not the best editing job on my part, but here it is. You sir, have done a job well done!

"One person may be going home with 1 Million Dollars!"
smh that season had that man vs. man concept. e.e
UCH doesn't really need to be here anymore. It's been used for 4 years, other than the SASUKE tournament ANW courses. Plus, I prefer the Endurance type of Cliffhanger than crazy jump transitions like this. Also at the testers, they're still using the prohibited CCH technique...
Curved Body Prop looks nice. I bet this is gonna feel your muscles burn so much. Because we all know how insane the regular Body Prop in general is amirite? Well this is tolerable. I actually kind of like this obstacle.
Oh and also, Circuit Board and Walking Bar is in the 3rd STAGE so uh.... ...good job ANW I guess. It's tolerable.
Same Tsuna Nobori for the FINAL STAGE? That's kind of disappointing. I was kind of expecting some Heavenly Ladder or Spider Climb added. Oh wait hold on..
"And only the fastest climb will take it home!"
.....I don't know who from NBC is responsible for this idea to keep the "concept" but I know for a fact that the concept needs to die....in a fire...

So my opinion on the 2nd STAGE. It's not an obstacle course stage. It is planned and built diarrhea on a bunch of land. 1) Giant Ring Swing It's just a shameful remake of an obstacle in qualifying but with just some more rings and transitions. Would've preferred the Rope Jungle. But this obstacle is tolerable, it's obviously not the best idea to start out with. 2) DSL (Modified to be Kudari -> Nobori) I like this new twist they did on this. Even though the DSL has been around since the start of the Vegas course in 2012, this twist was well done. It's my favorite out of this terrible stage. 3) Unstable Bridge.......thing that looks like the Hourglass Drop.......yeah.... Why is this obstacle still here? It's been stale and boring around 2015, why is it still here? Sure you change the shape of the bridges to be like the Hourglass Drop, but it's still the obstacle! Sure you change the bridges to be on a hinge instead of hanged by ropes/chains but it's still the same obstacle! Why can't you just remove this already? 4) Butterfly Wall I still want this in the 1st STAGE still. It deserves to be in the 1st STAGE, not the 2nd. They also changed the mount to the wall to a trampoline. But that's it. 5) DOUBLE WEDGE, WHY? This is just a terrible decision for the ANW team. Why take, an obstacle barely anyone passed and was not really appreciated by others, and put it in the VEGAS COURSE!? Sure it slows down competitors, but it's just another shameful remake of a past obstacle that was an act of infamy. I would've preferred the Metal Spin (Obviously, that was better) and the Roulette Spin even though that was another remake of a certain qualifier obstacle, but it's better than THIS. 6) Tackle Wall? Flipping Wall? Ok, it was only shown for like 3 seconds, but I can already see the concept of this. Flip over a glass wall, pick it up and flip it again to a post. I just see this as a pointless filler for the past Wall Lift. It's stale in concept, and it's basically pointless.. Improvements: Possibly remove the Giant Ring Swing, but if not, it's fine because it's tolerable. Keep the DSL twist. Remove the Unstable Bridge and Butterfly Wall, REMOVE THE DOUBLE WEDGE AND BANISH IT FROM ITS EXISTENCE, and probably bring back the Wall Lift. This Flipping Wall thing is stale and pointless. Look ANW, you made creative obstacles in qualifying and semi-final courses, so why can't you do it here?

My vote would go to the Warped Wa--ok just kidding. But really, the Salmon Ladder honestly needs to go awayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to be honest Why? It's a staple that basically got famous from SASUKE, and yes, and there are innovating ways to evolve it. Then again, it's your opinion. Yes I know it's a famous staple, but ANW really hasn't done anything to it to make it really "unique" other than doing a mini tramp transition to the bar. Plus, with the new creative obstacle ideas they're coming up with now, this obstacle is kind of getting old since it's been used for 7 seasons in the same way. The obstacle is starting to get boring to watch every season too.

Yuuji was better in his Shin-era years. Now the most we can expect from him now is clearing the 1st STAGE and timing out in the 2nd STAGE. He's basically handicapped now.
