Well I haven't gone away from SASUKE. It's not every day I get to see my friends take on an obstacle course. On a side note Happy birthday to Seiki Takasu! Also Colin Frazier (pretty much me if I was the other gender tbh. XD) HIs birthday is today too. I'm staying here because you people treat me better than my actual friends. You may need new friends then fam.

To anyone who is going to the taping here is some important news. Based on weather for the next several days shows it'll triple degree weather in the day with it being at least in the 80s at night. So dress in cool clothing. And bring lots of sunscreen!

Masashi Hioki - 13 (-1) Kenji "Kong" Takahashi - 13 Toshihiro Takeda - 16 (-1) Ragivaru "Wreath Man" Anastase - 10 Shunsuke Nagasaki - 3 (+1) Tomohiro Kawaguchi - 14 Eh I'm pretty sure you can't split the -2 to 2 different people. Either Hioki or Takeda is getting nuked. I could have sworn that move was legal in the 32 elimination game. In any case, it has been fixed to stay safe.

Don't they have testers run the entirety of each stage in order to confirm it's possible? I get stage 3 is hard, but I feel like they shouldn't nerf the difficulty if that's the case. Competitors will get better, and eventually someone will pass it. I understand testers in this situation aren't combated with the same fatigue of running previous stages, or hanging around the course for two days, but each stage is possible based on that merit. I think they've only had serious rock climbers attempt only that combo, and they've barely been able to beat it.

LOL This is Olympic qualifying competition prices. Kids pay that just to enter sanctioned events. Doesn't surprise me one bit and considering the size and what you can get out of it I'm sure it's justified. Hell.. how much are tickets just to see NNL? Bottom of the site: "© 2017 G4 Media, LLC." I had no idea G4 was still alive in some form. Usually around $5 to spectate, on average around $50 for adults to compete.

Real Life Beasts is no more. Beasts from the East: James McGrath, Erica Cook, and Dave Cavanaugh. No word yet on Drew. Maybe sitting out? Maybe he's teaming up with Derek Matthews and Meghan Beatty to form a New Era Ninja's Squad?

There are only four competitors who competed every season. There have been many prolific people who no longer compete. I was thinking make a list of some of those who no longer compete. Some on the list have felt that the show has become too much reality tv, some the producers haven't invited back, some had there jobs prevent it, and some there is no known reason. Some made it far and some were frequently highlighted in the past. People who come to mind: Levi Meeuwenberg Brian Orosco Travis Furlanic Shane Daniels Evan Dollard Dustin Rocho Jake Smith Andrew Karsen Kevin Antoine Derek Nakamota Elet Hall Travis Weinard Kyle Cochran Bull Bullard Idoko Abuh Josh Cook Casey Finley Isaac Caldiero Brandon Douglass Rob Moravsky Preston Griffall Geoff Britten Jeremiah Morgan Dustin McKinney Paul Kasemir Travis wienand will be back at season 10 according to instagram Casting just started, there's no way of anyone knowing if they make it back, even Graff.

I'm a little confused. You fell on the Kevin carbone salmon ladder and Andrew Karsen fell on the cliffhanger to bars transition but you got 4th and he got 3rd? He was DQ'ed on the cliffhanger for starting on the 2nd ledge.

He's faced them all, but has only ever beaten the original (21, 23, 24. Five other times he has gotten owned). I don't know if he has the stamina currently to beat the Stage 2, but it'll never happen at this rate. If you watch him in 33, he even looks gassed out right after beating the "up" portion of it. Upper body stamina and him have never agreed with each other anyway. Salmon Ladder could almost be a Stage 3 obstacle if it wanted to. Oh 100% agreed. Don't underestimate mental fatigue playing with your body as well. Look at Yuuji who is a 2 time champion. Nagano who is a champion and 5 time finalist.. when the mind is not there your body drags behind. I am under no illusions that Takeda will ever get out of the 3rd stage. Sasuke 24 was his last chance and he choked hard and never recovered. That was his last chance. If anything the experience of it all is what is causing him to flub an obstacle that others have passed with ease because they are not carrying the baggage Takeda is carrying. Definitely it could be argued that it's 100% of his making. Shame because he's one of the best that never got out of the 3rd stage even if he holds the record and possibly will never have anyone remotely come close to. I still feel like if Takeda had trained hard for and competed in 27, he could have completed that third stage.

Haven't been impacted by the fires but there's been very noticeable smoke wherever we go outside. PPM is about 4x higher than the safe level for breathing, kids around my school are wearing masks, and PE activities are being curved. It's nothing compared to what families in the North are going through though, and I wish them all the best.
