Did they ever say what "privilege" was given to the winner of the first challenge?

Did they ever say what "privilege" was given to the winner of the first challenge? Those who held on the longest got to pick their opponent in the elimination challenge that followed.

Gotcha, so there wasn't any unique privilege for #1. He just got to pick his opponent first, while #2 got to pick his opponent second, and so on.

I finally finished season 2. I enjoyed it. One of my biggest issues with the first season was how a lot of people towards the end pretty much came out of nowhere. This season the editing was a lot better in that regard as I had an idea who everyone was while they did still eliminate some big names as it went on so there wasn't an obvious winner edit.

I enjoyed this one too. It was similar enough to Season 1 to be familiar, yet different enough to not feel like just another rehash. More specific (and potentially spoily) thoughts follow. {Thoughts on quests} - The maze quest offered an excellent addition of strategy to the game. With the sand moving quest from Season 1, sure, there were things you could do wrong (like not securing the boards or running too fast), but it was pretty straightforward. With the maze, you had to plan ahead and adjust on the fly, and you could even interfere with the other team's movement.
- I liked that teams were paired up for the ship moving quest in Season 1, and would have preferred something like that over the minecart loading/bag pushing quest they had instead.
- The 20 -> 4 quest was disappointing and bland. The Greek-inspired one in Season 1 was far more interesting. Plus, as soon the challenge was announced, you could see on every woman's face, "Well, guess that's it for me." At least with the multi-game version from Season 1, you could have put a woman in the track chase, and she might have had a chance to win it. Not so when it's just "who can pull a heavy thing the fastest."
- The final three games were similarly uninspired. In season 1, those final games rewarded a blend of strength, agility, and stamina. In this season, things were far more static. That being said, I think I like that the final game was direct competition, rather than a race. However, with a different final pairing, it could have been extremely anticlimactic if one competitor was significantly stronger than the other. With the rope pull, you could have been far stronger, yet had your muscles burn out in a way that wouldn't have been as much of an issue here.
