It hasn't been since Sasuke 17 that the first stage was in a straight line. As of Sasuke 22, the Jumping Spider and the Halfpipe Attack seem to be the obstacles that make the first stage not straight. Do you think the they will change this in 23 like the producers changed the Warped Wall in 22?

I dunno, why would they do that? Besides there's no way to make the HPA into a straight line. And the Wall was straightened because the Stick Slider was a straight obstacle as well.

The HPA could be replaced. I guess the question should be changed to "Will they changed the Jumping Spider so that it is in a straight line?"

I just wish they gave people more runway before the jump on the trampoline. They don't give nearly enough to get any decent speed before the trampoline.

I just wish they gave people more runway before the jump on the trampoline. They don't give nearly enough to get any decent speed before the trampoline. They shortened the distance from the original one (when it was just the Jump Hang) and I believe the first Jumping Spider on 18 had a more run up and people were having no problems with it. They increased the difficulty by shortening up the ramp so it really takes almost perfect technique to get up there and stick. I'm sure someone can do the comparisons but they did shorten it a lot. Quasikos: Seriously! You get like two steps it sucks! LOL Not everyone is as tall as you Most of the Americans looks like giants on the obstacles.. especially Terek.. LOL

The Halfpipe Attack's rope's path would have to go forward, not at an angle and the landing pad would have to lead to a path going in the same direction instead of one perpendicular to it or, more recently, backward. It could be done in a relatively straight path.
The stage could easily be straight forward. They all could. Will they in 23? I doubt it. Any time soon? I doubt it. It's harder to navigate a bunch of right angles and this new set of stages is supposed to be harder than ever before.
Also, there's plenty of room to get a ton of power before the Jumping Spider. If you can't generate enough power in that space, you should work on your strength and plyometrics.
And I think Terek is the only one who looks huge on the course. Even Brian didn't look that big.

Well now I have a chance to post this again. And they could straighten it out if they take out the halfpipe

damn, that's a huge difference between 18 and 19! You almost have to triple jump down the gap and on the trampoline in 19.

there's no need to make it in a straight line...it would only give them a lot of job to do About the Jumping Spider...damn, I didn't noticed that! no wonder Terek fell...for a giant like him that couldn't be more that two steps. LOL did you know that most of the wikipedia article about him is about the fact that he was the heaviest contestant in SASUKE 17? Poor guy...

It's not a straight line but the starting and finishing point are in the same direction.
