Hi guys, so I know a lot of you probably are good at push-ups. I have been trying to incorporate them, but tend to get frustrated as I never (or rarely) feel like I’m perfectly balanced while doing them. I feel like my arms aren’t doing an equal amount of work and sometimes it even appears that way on video. I did decide to film myself on one of my sets today and then I decided I would share it on here to request some critique and form help. Sorry, I would’ve started more promptly if I had realized I would post this haha (but the thing I’m doing is what I always do to try and ensue that my feet are in the right spot because sometimes they feel wrong too lol). Anyway, here’s the flick:
Please be honest - yes it will suck if I’ve been doing them totally wrong, but it’ll be good to know.
EDIT: Just seen the thumbnail and it captures a part where my arms definitely look uneven😫

Hi! I'm no expert but I'll give you my feedback.
I think your doing it correctly and there's no major flaw.
There's something a bit odd though, but I don't know if it's due to technique or it's just the way your body is. I'm talking about your right shoulder always staying a bit above the left when you go down. Also, your right elbow bends more backwards than your left. If you're able to, maybe try to get your body as even as possible and the less you move your elbows the better.
Besides that, it's just a matter of testing yourself and feel which forms make your muscles work more. When you're feeling comfortable try to progressively put your hands closer to your body, because it's harder and it needs more strength. Take baby steps though.
Keep up the good work!
