We know that there's some few top competitors had already shown their top 5 areas that they hate. Until now, there's Kawaguchi Tomohiro, Matachi Ryo, Sato Jun, Isa Yoshinori, Yamada Katsumi, Urushihara Yuji, Morimoto Yusuke, and Hioki Masashi. What would be those competitors least favourite 5 obstacles? 1 Nagano Makoto 2 Akiyama Kazuhiko 3 Suzuki Yusuke 4 Takeda Toshihiro 5 Tada Tatsuya 6 Yamamoto Keitaro 7 Araki Naoyuki 8 Shiratori Bunpei 9 Nagasaki Shunsuke 10 Kanno Hitoshi 11 Darvish Kenji 12 Iwamoto Hikaru 13 Tsukada Ryoichi 14 Saikawa Koji 15 Yamamoto Yoshiyuki 16 Yamamoto Shingo 17 Asa Kazuma 18 Hashimoto Koji 19 Wasabi 20 Kishimoto Shinya 21 Iketani Naoki 22 Matsuda Daisuke 23 Torisawa Katsuhide
For Kato Shiho, She hate Soritatsu Kabe, cliffhanger, Dragon Glider and back stream, favourite obstacle is Rolling Hill.

That's the funniest thing I've read in a long time. But anyway, I pretty much agree with all this, the only things I'd add are that Nagano's would probably be the Warped Wall, Matsuda would be any new obstacle, and Keitaro's would undoubtedly be the Backstream.

Nagano will also include metal spine and devil branch in his 5 obstacle list. He failed at there each once.

For Nagano its probably luck more than any obstacle. He should have by all means Kanzened atleast 2 more times if it wasnt for things as simple as wind blowing in last second of his Final Stage attempt.

Now the result of Yamamoto Shingo is coming out some obstacles. 3rd Spin Bridge 4th Flying Shot 5th Rolling Maruta Now there's some few areas for Shingo's top 2 list: Dragon Glider Rolling Escargot Cliffhanger Kai Back Stream
Half Pipe Attack Double Pendulum Pipe Slider Fish Bone For the favourite area for him, it might be: Soritatsu Kabe Salmon Ladder Spider Walk Steps area Rope Climbing Jump Hang

Asa - Crazy/Ultra Crazy Cliffhanger Koji - Chain See-Saw Wasabi - Dragon Glider Shinya - same as Araki Iketani - Cliffhanger Daisuke - every single new obstacle Torisawa - Sasuke itself Didn’t the Spin Bridge and/or Warped Wall technically ruin Kanno’s career as they both caused his shoulder to dislocate, which was the main reason he’s been so out of it as he’s had surgery for it multiple times? I know his Rolling Hill fail caused him to miss S34 but most of his fails since then haven’t been due to a lack of lower body strength, rather they’ve all been Dragon Glider fails. The DG is defo Kanno’s biggest enemy right now as he’s failed it a record 4 times in a row. He also apparently injured his shoulder AGAIN in 38 when he failed the DG, which is why his Paravi run still had no interview. Saikawa’s enemy atm is probably Stage 2 as he’s failed it 3 for 3, granted he’s been getting better everytime so I’m not suggesting whatsoever he’s going to become the new Keitaro lol. That said I feel like if Stage 2’s made harder in any way for 40 there’s a good chance he could fail it again as he’s not been the fastest competitor on the stage and still timed out in spite of the heavily nerfed log. Darvish’s would have to be a cross between bad weather and TBS itself. For how much they milk his celebrity status, he’s been wronged probably more than any other competitor bar maybe Kongu. Failed due to weather related oversights in 32, 37, and 39, and an obstacle malfunction that they tried to cover up in 38.

Ah, funny but not surprising Shingo's favorite obstacle is the Warped Wall. He's only ever failed it when it was wet in a qualifier and in America when he lost his shoe! I've always noticed one of his strengths is his legs' ability to drive up the wall, and he seems to have pretty long, athletic legs at that. I think he would have cleared the wall in 38 had he gotten there as Takeda did who in my opinion is visibly less proficient at it judging from training videos at Matsuda's.
Another obstacle Shingo's never failed is the Salmon Ladder (the three variants he has attempted).
Overall his top 5 picks make sense. The only one he hasn't failed more than once is the Rolling Log, but I feel like that one also just gave residual damage on his Stage 1 runs when it was present. Not many other obstacles have that particular type of effect on their stages.
