I wish they'd be more open to using the shorter style video packages.
In Qualifiers, the EMT Dracula from Romania (Q5) and North Pole guy (Q4) were the lengths I wouldn't mind seeing more of. They were 30 seconds and 40 seconds each with a host narrating and a brief interview mixed in.
Semifinal 3's Roo Yori with the dogs might have been the only one of its kind. It was 30 seconds with just a host narrating and no interview portion. I remember Titan Games also doing this type with one competitor.
Another variation could split screen the sit down interview so they're not constantly cutting back and forth, letting them show a bit more job or hobby or training footage.
Just imagine any of those templates with Qualifying 2's pageant contestant turned science teacher who fell on Obstacle 2. Her video package was a full 90 seconds that could've been done in half the time while still letting you see a clip montage of her pageant days, teaching, and seeing her talk about herself and what she does.
It kind of leaves a sour feeling when you tune in and the first run immediately cuts to a full length documentary piece on... learning to fly a plane. I could imagine the folks on Reddit making more jokes about rich kids for that.
IT WAS ACTUALLY OVER 100 SECONDS LONG!!! AND AT LEAST THREE-QUARTERS OF THAT WAS ABOUT THE PLANE!!!
